China Gourmet Express — Restaurant in Oakland

Normally I like this place, but I was disappointed this last time. You can always tell by how certain food items look, but the chicken tasted and looked refried from the night before, but I took a chance anyway, even though they said it was just cooked. It wasn't. You have to watch how they ring up your order also. I know my food should not have costed so much, but didn't feel like going thru the hassle at the time, but next time I will, or they can just not serve me, and keep their food, I don't care. Get a itemized receipt if you have to. This is for all of these types of places I've noticed. Guess that's why they only deal with cash...

The food here is so nasty their fried rice has no flavor to it whatsoever deer meat taste fake I have no words that can really describe the food here except for disgusting I was so disappointed I took a taxi cab from my hotel room all the way there just to get the food because someone said it was good well they do not know what good food is these people serve food that is really bad two people that are in a low-income area and they should be ashamed of yourselves for the quality of food they serve just because people do not have tons of money does not mean you have to serve them like animals I would not give this...

I work 5 steps away from this place and it was my first time ordering. It was disgusting way too salty. The fried rice isn’t authentic Chinese style. And the sweet chicken taste like too much sweet and sour sauce. I’ve definitely had way better for the same price. Btw they do not hook it up. If anything they give you less than what you’re paying for at a eat in to go Chinese food place....
