My wife and I have been frequenting this theater for ages due to their worn but comfortable seats, good sodas and popcorn etc, close proximity to home and because they are far from the herd that generally mills around at the Regal. Recently, the Centre6 upgraded to new cushy seating that on paper should be comfy as all getout but sadly, it's so ramrod straight and close to the seat ahead of it that I almost had to leave the show after an hour due to my back threatening to seize up. I settled for leaning forward on the seat back in front of me to make it to the end of a great movie (Criminal Activities) We tried a couple of other houses to see if the new seats felt the same and sadly they did. Sorry O6, my stove up back trumps your otherwise great little theater and though we try to support the little guys when possible, I doubt we'll be back. PS; In the interest of honesty, I'm old and crotchety. You young skinny people could probably sit on an old mossy rock for three hours and be comfortable. Your...
Read moreShe sold us tickets to the movie we wanted and directed us to the theater. This was to be a treat for my son, who pointed out after credits and shortly into it that we were seeing the wrong film. Found the lady, who kindly told us that they were not showing our movie because there were AC complications and (looking at my kid) asked why we wouldn't rather watch the other movie. No. I want to see the movie I paid to see... the movie I brought my kid to see. If there were technical difficulties, you shouldn't have sold and tore the tickets without disclosure. Shady business practices. We won't be back and I don't recommend this place. And no, I didn't get a refund. To be fair I didn't ask either. Why waste anymore time or energy on shady people and lopsided business practices. I spent the rest of the day staying positive and enjoying my day with my son.... It took lots of ice...
Read moreWhile prices may be great, the movie watching quality is not. Went to see the Bob's burgers movie a couple months agoz theater 3, and there was a huge rip in the middle of the screen, which they knew of but didn't care about. Figured that may have been a one off issue, so we went back tonight to watch the new Thor Love and Thunder, theater 1 this time, only for the entire movie to be dark, like when you turn the lighting down on a cell phone, so all the colors and details were drastically muted. I asked if they had a way to increase the brightness, and they just shrugged it off and said i wasn't the first person that day to complain about it and that it "must be the file they received" we stayed and watched the movie, cause my kids really wanted to see it, but it took away from the movie very much. It's a shame, basically, you get whay you pay...
