Shoe Station — Local services in Ocala

We visited Shoe Carnival on a weekday in March 2024. The store wasn't huge, but not tiny either. For the most part, it seemed clean. We found they had somewhat decent choice when it came to brands (although they could be a lot better), but we found that choices for the individual brands were somewhat limited. Both of us looked for something we each had in mind. Choice limitations, as well as actual stock of said choices were both lacking. Every shoe I found that I might consider, had no shoes in my size (12). And the limitations of choices didn't help. She had trouble even finding choices that she would like. But the few that she might consider, had no shoes in her size. Her feet being average size could be the issue why. But my size is not and I had the same problem. When it was all said and done, we left Shoe Carnival without making a purchase. But on the plus side, the prices at Shoe Carnival seemed better than most of the competition. So if by chance they have something you would choose, in a size that actually fits you. Well then you could find shoes at a decent price. I'll stop short of saying cheap price. But less expensive than a lot of other more expensive...

Store customer service was great. I give them a 5 🌟. I bought a pair of boots for 100 bucks and got a second pair for half off but they didnt carry the size i needed so i had them mailed to me. I only have Sunday's off. Therefore i cant go to the post office. The boots got to ocala 5days later like they said it would. But they didnt get to my house. They didnt leave any notice or call me. I had to call them. And the phone customer services is horrible. The woman who answered me was ghetto and unhelpful. Nothing like the ones at the actual store. My point is, if you cant comply with your advertisement why mention it. The post office opens after i start working and closes before i get out. I would have known thus and i would have just bought the ones that were available at the moment and saved myself this headache. May 17th and still dont have any boots and now they "cant" give me a refund because they dont have the boots in hand. Great take my money while i also have no boots as if i didnt work for my money. Aweful... Now i know why...

On June 12th I entered the shoe carnival in Ocala FL and there was a young lady named Becca and she was behind the counter and said I stated that I spoke to someone earlier but I didn't recall her name until she was helping me, but the young lady named Becca pointed at the Wall and stated that is where the non slip shoes and I stated again that someone earlier I spoke to helped me and I didn't know if she set them aside for me or not and Becca said well she'll be over there in a few. Terrible customer service If I didn't need those shoes for first thing in the morning I would have just left them on the counter. I own my own business and if any of my employees just gave not one ounce of respect for our customers they would be gone but I don't think I will be back to that location again my first choice was the shoe department actually but unfortunately they didn't have the color nor my size but I rather go to...
