Verizon — Local services in Ocean City

I have used this Verizon many times due to the convenience of location, but I never will again. Multiple times they were incapable of answering questions accurately and have led myself and my family in wrong directions about upgrades, phones, our plan, etc. Most recently, they failed to properly set me up/inform me how to trade-in my phone to avoid additional charges upon upgrading to a new device. At the time, I was assured I did not have to send in the phone, and now I am faced with an enormous bill to pay for the phone that should have been turned in in the first place. My mom bought a phone, but the sales rep failed to explain that the newer version was ONE day away from being available for purchase. They opted instead to take advantage and get the immediate sale right then and there. I have been rudely talked down to many times, and I find it concerning that at times I felt I knew more about certain things by a simple Google search than the paid employees here. Overall, I can not recommend enough to take the time to drive further for far better service with employees who are capable. I have complained numerous times, but nothing has ever come of it. BEWARE ALL!! THIS IS NOT A REAL VERIZON STORE AS THE RUDE LADY TOLD ME DIFFERENT. She assured me I was getting the greatest device (my first smartphone) and it was better than the iPhone I came and asked for . She convinced me to pay $100 for a Android that I later found was Free with Verizon Wireless (Not Cellular Sales) and when it started acting funny with me and I brought it in for help , she did not know how to help me because she was unfamilar to the phone. I then stated I wanted to just return the phone and get what my grandaughter had originaly helped me to decide to get (iphone) I was told that I would have to pay a Shelf Fee before I could buy what I first came for. She then stated we are not a Corporate Store, they have their own rules they follow at Cellular Sale Company. Beware anyone as gullable as I to be sold a 1 year old phone and overpay and talked out of device I wanted. This was as bad as a used car sale...

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! It is a scam!! They will trick you and add stuff to your contract and protection plans that you did not ask for!! Just so they can make the commission! Then they will harass you to buy any of there over priced covers, and protection glass!! There sales representative tried to steal my used phone by not adding the trade in value to my total phone payment!!!! I asked him to show me a proof of that! He said it’s in our system!! I said what proof do I have that it is in the system?? And refused to give me a receipt that their store took my old phone for a trade in value!! Worst place ever!!
