Ocean Isle Beach Town Hall — Local services in Ocean Isle Beach

Not happy how trashy the beach has turned. We have been by the noisiest trashiest people this week - we just left the beach and they have at least 15 empty glass bottles of beer littered around them and have a speaker at least two feet tall blasting horrible music and half the time they are not even sitting around it but still leaving the music blaring for people to have to tolerate. Not one person has come by all afternoon to patrol the area. This used to be a nice family beach....

This is the worst beach I have ever been to. I sit in traffic for one hour just to get across the bridge to the beach. There’s only one way in and out. I parked on the side of the street where there was no parking signs around and ended up with a $50 ticket. Not to mention that there is no nice restaurants . and don’t let me forget about the building. They are building everywhere so I could only imagine how this place would be in six months. I would not go to Ocean...

Oak Island Beach is way better. They do not hastle you about alcohol or tents. Ocean Isle is a "New York" type of beach where you can't just sit and chill without being hastled.

One other thing...finding parking is easier...
