Looking for an honest to goodness, caring, and professional jeweler, Barnes and Co. is your shop. We worked with them from March - October 2021 and received only this highest quality service, personal touch, and pieces. There's was no pressure and Rachel was very responsive to our needs and desires. She was a lot of fun to work with as well! I would gladly recommend this shop and Rachel to family and friends.
We did shop around and speak with several jewelers, and Barnes was by far the top tier leaving others in the dust. Most jewelers either didn't seem to care about helping us find the best rings or rushed us. Barnes did the complete opposite.
They have several collections to choose from and are able to customize rings based on preferences. They communicate readily and honestly about everything from design to production and payment to delivery of goods.
Do yourself a favor, skip the other shops and focus your energy on the shop that does the job well--Barnes and Co.. Thank you so much, Rachel!!! It'll be great working...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing! Everyone there was extremely friendly and down to earth. We walked in with a ring we found and asked what it was worth. After they ran a few tests and examined the ring they explained confidently and honestly what the value was. I was then looking at a cross necklace for my wife and they made casual conversation and my wife responded that she didn’t want to lose her great grandmas cross she wears every day. The nice lady asked if she could look at it under the microscope and said it was very beautiful but the chain it was on was in poor condition, which it was a cheap one from an old necklace, she just wanted to wear the cross. She offered to look at chains to get an idea of what a good strong chain would be and never tried to sell us anything. We ended up getting a new chain for the cross necklace because again, nobody tried to sell us anything from walking in there to leaving the store. Everyone there is amazing and genuine. I honestly don’t think I’ll be shopping anywhere else but here...
Read moreDisappointed with my experience at Barnes. I went in to look at rings with a friend and the consultant I was working with said they would save my information for when my boyfriend would like to propose (ring style and size). When my boyfriend went in to order the ring, they didn't have any of my information saved as the consultant no longer works there and apparently they didn't save any of my information so they played a guessing game trying to figure out what I like. The ring came too large, of course, and when we went to get it resized they were extremly rude. A lady with purple hair that works there had an awful tone and was not professional at all. Then when we went to pick up the ring they gave it in a plastic bag, can't be bothered to put it in something nicer after the amount of money we spent. For marketing themselves as a luxury product/service, the little things really do matter and they left a bad taste in my mouth with the lack of professionalism. I would...
