Iāve recently jumped back into card collecting after a 20 year hiatus. I stopped by to check out LCC. I had never been to the location or met anyone in the shop. When I entered I was greeted promptly. After asking about some specific cards the owner (Tim) was called over. He was very friendly and took the time to talk with me. He let me know what he had in stock (but not in the store/cases) and what he had coming in. He also shared how he started the store and his history. None of the stores Iāve been in over the past two months have made me feel so welcome.
The store is not big and there isnāt a lot of high end cards on display. However, the shop is well laid out, very clean, and well lit to see cards. Every time Iāve been there Iāve seen at least 3 people working so getting some service isnāt hard.
Tim also seemed to go the extra mile. A friend of mine is looking for some specific high end cards and Tim tracked one down. I was able to go in and checkout the card with my buddy on FaceTime. There was no pressure to complete a purchase if it wasnāt desired.
Iād recommend this shop to others and will look to buy/sell through them...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe owner only talks to his favorite customers, anyone else, including myself multiple times, gets ignored and scoffed at when asking questions. The owner's wife babbles and knows very little about the industry. Every experience in this shop has been extremely negative, unlike the other card shops in the area. Go to AJ's shops if you are looking for real service. The most recent time I stopped in, Tim was the only one working and he was too busy opening packs in front of a few customers and bragging about how awesome his pulls were to even acknowledge that my daughter and I had walked into his shop. He certainly has a god complex and thrives off people praising him for how awesome he thinks he is. He never even greeted us; so we left. This was also a huge turn off for my daughter when I brought her in to get her...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTim, Lorena, Boonie, Chris, Josh, Lexi, Austin and all others that work here are very good people that care about the experience of all their customers. The shop is clean, and inviting. The prices are not displayed on post its, and their wax wall always has something for anyone to rip. There are not pile and piles of cards all over the floor and counters that are not organized. They have good cards for sale and are always willing to listen to your stories. They are real OGs in the industry and treat their customers like family and will do anything to help them. Above all, they are all HONEST people. Which is hard to find in this hobby. Most importantly, the way they treat kids is matched by no one. My son loves to visit the shop and hang out with everyone. Would rate...
