My first visit to any fleet and farm was on 10/21/23 the Oconomowoc store. I needed window -weld for a project I was planning on doing that same day. First off I purchased stuff from 3 different areas. None of the people were very helpful or asked if I needed help. I had to ask. One department I waited for the employee and a friend of his to stop talking. His friend says hey I think he is looking for something and may need help. Have a great day!! After probably 10 minutes listening to them. Now I go to the check out isle 1. The lady clerk did not speak or understand english, being my first time at any F&F store, I asked about if they had a rewards program like Farm and Fleet has. This is more my store. She says no, this is fleet and farm? Puzzled by her comment. I said yes I know this is Fleet and Farm, not Farm and Fleet? Next she tries to get me to open a charge account with Fleet and Farm I said no. I said if you don't have a rewards program here, I am not interested. Finish the transaction so I can leave. I have stuff to do. This was at 10:33am. Buy the time I got back to New Berlin. I noticed the 2 tubes of 3M window weld were not in my bag. I call the store as soon as I noticed. Spoke to a few on the phone and was waiting on a call back. SInce I was running out of time to do the project I needed to do that day, I decided to drive back to the store, Now at customer service desk. A lady says yes she spoke to me on the phone and was waiting for a manager to look at the cameras and see what happened. Did I get the call, no. She know, since i was there goes to a locked door in the front of the store and knocks. I am taking it as this was the room with the camera and manager. After waiting she comes back as states the cashier took to long with me, Yes I experienced this and she put my 2 tubes of 3m window weld in the person behind me his bag when he finished checking out!!! So they gave me the one tube remaining at the store and $9.45 cent credit off my purchase, Then I thought I was getting a coupon for $10.00 off my next purchase. No the coupon states $10. off a purchase of $50. or more before Oct 31st!! 2 trips to this store in one day from New Berlin. I did not get what I paid for and had planned on doing that day, I get $9.45 for my lost time and grief. The customer who got what I paid for got $36.00 of a free product. The cashier to who waited on me was already gone by 12:00 when I returned to the store with my receipt. Poor management , poor help and a very dissatisfied customer. They built a brand new Fleet and Farm in Muskego. that store on line did not have the product I needed, this is what brought me to Oconomowoc store. I can say i won't be shopping at Fleet and Farm in Muskego either. I will remain a loyal Farm and Fleet customer. I have been a Farm and Fleet customer for...
Read moreNEVER try to buy a gun from this store! I went in for a Black Friday deal on a handgun. I started filling out the paperwork and halfway through, one of the guys locked himself out of the computer system. This is where the nightmare started. 45 mins later, we had wrapped everything up and then I was informed its too late for gun sales... I was told to call the next morning. I called again in the morning, gave my info, and was told the gun was ready for pick up. I drove all the way out to the store just to be told someone misread my name and I was actually still pending. I waited a few more days and again called, gave my info, had them double check, and was told I was approved. I drove all the way out there AGAIN and was told by "Team Lead" Paul that my gun sale was closed out. He said I would need to restart the entire process from the beginning. Instead of helping me with that, he thought it was a good time to go on break or clock out for the night. He dumped it on some kid who was already busy with another customer. This is where I got fed up. I asked to speak to someone half way competent on gun sales and a manager got involved. She checked on the gun and said I did not have to restart the gun sale procedure and to just wait one more day. The next day they called and said the DOJ denied my handgun sale. This is a complete lie! (I have nothing on my record keeping me from owning a gun. I literally just bought one the same weekend at Cabelas) I called the DOJ and the agent said there was nothing under my name showing I tried to even buy a handgun, yet alone denied. They messed up my transaction from the very beginning. I worked with 5 different employees at this store in the firearm department and only 1 of them had any idea of what they were doing. They also said they will no longer honor the Black Friday sale price on the gun I wanted. Complete joke and waste of time. Never...
Read moreOverall, I am satisfied with this store. My most recent experience, however, was very sub-par. The staff tries hard, and there isn't much that you can't find here. It's not 5 stars from me because the other day I was there to pick something up and there were three employees behind the counter: one of them was working hard for another customer and extremely busy, the other two were busy chatting away with each other and completely ignored me (and all the other customers) for a good 15 minutes plus. One of them wasn't even wearing anything to identity them as an employee. Now, I don't have a problem with people talking and working but to fail to even acknowledge my existence as a customer while you are gossiping? Sorry, your external guests come first when you are on a sales floor, internal guests and employees, unless it is an emergency, can wait. It was terrible customer service. The one out of uniform turned out to be a manager. I know this because when I finally got time with the one hard worker behind the counter, that person was called over to assist. This is poor leadership like I have never seen from anyone at Fleet Farm. This manager wasn't even able to help because they admitted they didn't know how to do the paperwork and left it on the subordinates shoulder to get it right. Another bad showing. The other negative was an employee who was stocking. They were working hard, but their shirt was too short and their pants were hanging too far down so every time they bent over to pick something up, a good 4 inches of naked crack was showing. Petty, maybe, but certainly gross and unprofessional. I will say that the other employees that assisted me that day were extremely professional, kind, and helpful, like I am used to from this store. Perhaps they should be promoted while the manager, the chatter, and the mooner are sent to...
