Went to the store on a slow Thursday. Two sales people couldn’t answer questions on sizes. I was assured that I could return items within 30 days if unworn after explaining that I’m over buying for a photo session. Went to return and was told in-store credit for all returns. I explained this wasn’t shared with me and asked that it he escalated so others don’t run into the same issue. After defending what happened by showing me a small clear sign with small black writing and the writing in my receipt, I explained that those things aren’t visible until after purchase. I was then told it was probably during fall fest and there are new people. All I was looking for is that they acknowledge it would be best for all employees to tell customers and share it with leadership. In the end, an apology was issued, but after defending their store and saying it’s my fault for not seeing the clear sign/receipt, I found it not to hold much weight. I’ve always had trouble finding petite, affordable jeans so Fray is a godsend. Super cute styles, a beautiful interior, and helpful staff. I was however quite uncomfortable with the lack of mask wearing and social distancing. The woman who checked out my immunocompromised mother and I wore her mask under her chin. I came in on Monday with limited time to find a dress for a wedding this upcoming Saturday. I actually had been eyeing one I saw on their Instagram but didn’t end up loving it once I tried it on. The owner offered to pull some options for me and even gathered some from the back that weren’t yet on display.
