Updated Post 11.28.22 Another bad experience with this company. I had a challenge with their service and customer experience in June. When calling in to get assistance today I was met with a similar experience. Because I complained about how they handled things in June, they are no longer willing to support the extended warranty I paid for.
Previous Posting ~ Not customer friendly. Bait and switch on extended warranty plan. Rude customer service. I recently had an interaction with them that was very disappointing. After purchasing the extended warranty on a dishwasher, I had to call in service. The service tech came and was very nice, and fixed our dishwasher. I thought nothing of it until I received a bill in the mail. I was shocked because the extended warranty should have covered the repair. Then I was even more frustrated as they had a line item for "Out of Town Service Call" $85? This was never discussed with me on the phone or when the tech was on site. When I called in to discuss, I was told the owner was aware and didn't want to talk to me about the issue. When I tried to get more information the person on the phone was abrupt and dismissive. Not to mention I was told we were using the dishwasher wrong even though we were using it exactly how the initial installer told us to.    Read moreAlready sent one poor review so here is another. purchased a freezer at the start of the pandemic (That was a mess. Not the pandemic.) So today i called and talked to Steve who thought that my personality on the phone sounded like i was yelling at him! ( I guess Steve is a very sensitive person.) I was trying to ask when would be a good time for them to remove the old freezer from my basement (which was part of the verbal purchase ) He told me that I didn't pay for the delivery charge( no kidding I had to pick it up) at the time of purchase so they would not remove it from the basement,the best he could do would be to pick it up outside.That does not help me get it out of the basement!!! They already knew i was upset from the past (March) purchase you would think they would bend over backwards to fulfill my request and redeem there reputation of having quality customer service. Instead completely refused my request! I guess the few bucks they make on delivery is keeping the doors open!! Come on!! really!! $900 was not enough. Having been retired from 35 years in the automotive business which all we were rated on was customer service,this type of customer service is appalling.If i was to treat a paying customer that way i would be out of business.all i can say is.........
   Read moreThis is more a testament to Radtke but at the same time a slam on Best Buy. Went to Best Buy needing a Washer Dryer on a Sunday as we were completely down. Was such a terrible experience (see that review for Delafield) waited until Radtke opened Monday.
Had never been in Radtke until that Monday but was completely impressed with the knowledge, professionalism and even selection for what we wanted. At 9:30 am on the Monday they said they could deliver on Wednesday, when I mentioned was leaving town they bumped up the delivery to an hour later at 10:30 on Monday thus almost racing the delivery truck home.
Pricing - was a little worried about getting a fair price going to a smaller retailer. They looked at all the competitors as I stood there and promised to meet or beat anyone else. To my amazement they were $200 cheaper to the next closest competitor.
Next to the delivery - the guys were completely awesome, took away the old ones for no charge, and since the new doors couldn't reverse, brought longer hoses to flip flop the orientation.
Radtke is amazing. They don't nickel and dime you on hoses for hookups, delivery or removal.
Though dreading needing to replace more items, found my go to place...
