This happened December 2, 2015 at 4:15 p.m. on Wisconsin Ave. in Oconomowoc, WI:
Holy guacamole -- went through the drive through and saw a quesarito -- looked good -- only $2.39 -- I ordered two -- the speaker said that would be $4.98 plus tax -- wait a minute -- $2.39 times two is $4.78 -- I tried to explain and he simply repeated the price and said pull forward to the first window -- when I got there I explained again that the board said $2.39 and he was charging me $4.98 but it should be $4.78 -- at that point a man in a black and white checked shirt, who I surmised to be the owner or manager, pushed him aside and said "Sir, what do you want?" I explained again and he said they're $2.49 -- I said but the board says $2.39 -- "It's what the system says" he says. But that's not right, I say. "Okay, what do you want? You want a quarter? You want me to give you a quarter back? Would that make you happy sir?" And again, before I could say anything more, he turned away from me with my bag of food in his hand and slammed the window shut. Absolutely the most rude display I have ever seen in a retail environment. I drove away and called 800-TACOBELL and relayed my story to a woman who said they would take immediate action -- she seemed more concerned about the price differential -- she should have been more concerned about the...
Read moreI work in Oconomowoc and sadly this place services none of my needs. The location is never clean, never orderly, the staff always seems confused by the simplest of requests, and if they somehow do manage to get your order right and get it to you the quality is always lacking. I enjoy Taco bell, the one by my home in Watertown is very nice. This place somehow manages to disappoint in every way. A prime example would be the last time one of my coworkers convinced me to give them yet another chance, about a week ago, "they've changed" she said, "they have a new staff" she pleaded. I acquiesced and still they let me down. I ordered a tostada, simple right? They did not inform us at that time though that they had no tostada shells, so instead what we got was a taco shell broken in half, laid flat, and to add insult to injury, ingredients so poorly distributed on top that there were more beans and cheese and sauce on the box it came in than the taco shell! I am not entirely sure what the problem with this location is, I suspect the management, or probably the franchise owner. They go through staff so quickly I have to think it is a lack of care coming from the highest level of the organization. If you are reading this, and you are the owner of this location...Stop, just stop. You give Taco...
Read moreLet me start out by saying WORST TACO BELL EVER. The manager Shay was extremely rude, very un professional, hickeys all over her neck, she was a horrible human being. I pre ordered on my app, was told 5-8 minutes. I got to the restuarant and there were 4 or 5 people who were before and after me besides people in drive through . I told her that I had a pre order she said ok. Then she proceeded to take other orders as they came after mine. She looks out at me and says oh they are small orders . My wife and I worked a long day and just wanted to eat. 15 minutes later I had luckily got in touch with the general manager (he was a great guy) he told her hey he has been waiting 15 minutes with a pre order you need to get it done. I eventually got my food, however it was pretty much thrown down on the counter to me by Shay. I asked her seriously, she made yet another snide comment. Next the order was called in for dining there, she bagged it all up and tried to send me on my way. This is probably THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I am going to contact corporate about Shay and her management skills, or lack there of. I only wish I lived closer to a different taco bell as I never want to...
