George Webb Restaurant — Restaurant in Oconomowoc

The guys running the place at the time were super friendly. It's my first time eating at one of these places in a while.

I suppose it's a good place for people who don't have a whole lot of money to go to eat because the prices are really low, but you do kind of pay the price in regards to the quality of the food.

I mean they cook it to the best of their ability, and the quality of the service is top-notch, but obviously the quality of the actual ingredients reflects the low cost of the food which makes the food not that great.

If I was the owner of this over all company, I would take a hard look at possibly charging more for the food but making that extra money pay for better quality. Also you may need to move this particular location a little bit further away from the other restaurant across the street that's obviously stealing all the business away.

I am giving at 4 stars though because I really liked the service a lot. If it was just based on the food, it would be two or three stars, but sometimes good people can make just-okay-food pretty...

Our food was delicious 🧡 even though it was 5:00 in the evening on the 15th of Nov.we were able to order anything we wanted&such attentive service- my son ordered breakfast and had the wonderful breakfast steak and eggs hash browns and corned beef hash and he said it was so delicious! &They kept the coffee coming(she even gave us a to go cup for coffee since it was slightly snowing out and pretty chilly and windy) Thank u! I had the yummy George double burger with the wedges and they were great! Our waitress was awesome and so was the cook and they worked like a great team! Everything was neat and clean and tidy and they "social -distanced" us with their tables as well! We highly recommend the George Webb's in Oconomowoc,WI and what is wonderful about it is that it's open 24/7! It will fit anyone's budget as well as time when you can visit! I'm glad there's a location in Oconomowoc and think it would be great if they branched out further West. I have always liked George Webbs in general. It was interesting that this location is right next to active train tracks and we saw two trains come by while dining; one was even Amtrak. If you don't like feeling the vibrations though, I suggest calling ahead for a carryout order. Otherwise, going to a George Webb again reminded me that I like their breakfast food that can be filling more than their other food that isn't filling unless you're not that hungry. I had a dinner and then ate more at home because it wasn't enough, and that would've been any location. My son's kids menu choice was maybe 5 or 6 or so small like half finger size corn dogs with a good amount of fries so again not filling regardless of location.
