UPDATED. ( I have no idea what they are talking about in their response, the set I brought in was not a guardians ship and this entire interaction didnāt happen to me, I didnāt sell them the set, I just took it home. Maybe the response is a way to save face and not look badā¦) Brought a 600 dollar Lego set up to the store, told them it was missing two insignificant mini figures but complete with the other exclusive minifigures and instructions otherwise. The lady proceeded to try to weigh the set on their bulk scale. When I asked why, she said they have to buy in incomplete sets as ābulkā (despite selling incomplete sets in their store for full price). I repeated that it was only missing two nonexclusive minifigures that can be replaced for maybe 20 bucks. She still insisted it was ābulkā. Which came up to almost 20 dollars. (Including the exclusive minifigures that were still in the set). I told her Iād pass and started to leave when she stopped me and said āwait you have minifigures with it? Okay we can buy it as a setā. Even though they were clearly visible the whole time and I had even pointed it out to her beforeā¦.i sold it on eBay instead. Seems pretty shady, if theyāll try to do that to a grown adult Iād assume theyāll definitely do that to kids. The atmosphere is pretty unfriendly and unwelcoming and the prices are higher than what youād find on eBay. There are better Lego stores...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFrom Illinois currently visiting Oklahoma and I wanted to check any Lego stores out and this one came up. First appearance was great. Lots to look at and great builds for reasonable prices. The reason for the lower rating is not because of the appearance but the customer service, specifically an employee with older blonde hair guy, tattoos and glasses. You of course have to request items behind glass displays and everytime we requested an item that WE were going to BUY and PAY as paying customers. He would sigh and breathe very loud in annoyance and the faces he was making come to appear that he does not enjoy working here. I was eyeing their Ninjago City Gardens which was reasonably priced, but did not proceed to buy since I feel like the employee wouldāve been to bothered to even move a finger. Not a very great overall customer service experience and Iād hate for the kids who have to go up to him and have their experience ruined. Wouldāve bought more but he genuinely seemed bothered to help us out. Ruined my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My son and I have visited a few times now. Eric has been excellent to work with. Heās very honest and fair. Weāve brought in items to sell/trade and heās always done right by us. On our first visit, I brought my son with items he wanted to sell or exchange for store credit expecting a GameStop/Vintsge Stock experience of getting little to nothing for the items (and being prepared to walk if needed). Eric was very upfront and honest and we were pleasantly surprised at the extremely fair offers we received for the items. Due to their extensive knowledge we also found some very specific pieces my son was looking for to complete his own ācustomā projects. They were as excited to help my son as he was to find the items he was looking for. If youāre a Lego fan and looking for a business with integrity and knowledge I highly recommend checking...
