Mazzio’s Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

THE WORST PIZZA EVER!! I know when the food is honestly bad when my 6’4” 250lbs husband says he can’t eat this nasty food!! The pizza here tasted horrible and was burnt!! We USE to eat at this location since the 90’s but now it is so VERY BAD!! Nasty food and filthy dirty restaurant! The pizza crust tasted like BURNT BISQUICK crust!! The sauce had absolutely no flavor at all! You can tell whomever is the owner of this Mazzio’s today does not care at all! The food here is so bad and absolutely not worth the prices they charge!! We will never go back here ever again!! The lady behind the counter was somewhat nice and okay but not overly concerned about our horrible pizza and was not offering or trying to rectify how horrible our pizza was especially when you can obviously see how BURNT it is!! She just didn’t care! Don’t waste your money! The restaurant inside was so filthy as well! Dirty tables everywhere and not one worker was attempting to even try to clean the tables the entire time we were in there waiting and trying to eat a piece of our nasty pizza. When we left, the tables were still uncleared and filthy. The worst restaurant experience we have had in a long time. What was considered the “clean”tables were so filthy and greasy and grimy and had greasy hand prints all over the tables and absolutely on everything! It was so gross in there!! Pizza here was so bad that the cheap pizza restaurant (CC’s) that is known to always be buffet, that place has far better pizza than this Mazzio’s. At least their crust at the cheap place taste like yeast dough pizza crust and not BURNT BISCUIT crust! BISQUICK crust is not worth $30...

I ordered delivery. Chicken Alfredo Bake is always amazing. The delivery driver however, was hateful and rude to my colleague who signed for my delivery because I stepped away for a moment. She told him she needed a signature and he said he would sign. She said, "Oh I'm not getting a tip if you're signing." I refuse to tip on my credit card. I pay cash tips only so the driver can choose to claim them or not. I was a bartender and server for 20 years, so I ALWAYS tip generously, even though the driver only had to drive to the other end of a shared parking lot to my location. I wasn't sent a text notification, like my profile is opted in for, when the driver was on the way. I would not have stepped away & your hateful driver would have gotten the $10 cash tip for driving to the other end of the parking lot if I had gotten the text. Instead she was rude and hateful to my colleague and the patient he was with even said she was hateful and rude. But now I know the true colors of that person and I won't place a delivery order order from here ever again. It didn't take $10 in gas to drive across the parking lot, but I was sure willing to pay that for the convenience of not having to get out in the rain myself. $10 isn't a lot to some people, to some it is. Food was okay. Service was nominal at best. I'd give 2 stars, but the food itself wasn't bad. I don't expect full table service, but the guy working the counter took my order, never gave me a receipt and then brought our food out in 2 separate times. I can understand if your hands are full or you can't carry it all, but this was ridiculous. We ordered spaghetti with meatballs, a kid's mini pizza, a small order of cheese dippers and a small order of 5 traditional wings. He brought the pizza and spaghetti out first and then said the rest would be out "in a minute". I didn't pay attention to when he brought the first part of the order, but I should've. It took long enough that my mom was almost finished with her spaghetti and my nephew was 3/4 of the way through his pizza before we got the cheese dippers and my wings. So it had to be at least 15 minutes. He gave the excuse that they were changing out shifts, but I'm wondering if he didn't give our food to someone else because there were multiple carry out orders between when we ordered and when we actually got our food. I've seen this guy there before and I know he's worked there for years, but he's never friendly. I've never heard a thank you from him. He isn't the least bit friendly either.
