Walnut Square — Local services in Oklahoma City

Lots of parking, that is definitely the first thing you'll notice! Now I do admire the ambition but I don't think I've ever seen the place even a 1/4th of capacity. The stores available here while each in their own way offer a unique, eventful and even fulfilling shopping experience, they do not exactly draw the crowd. The Walnut square has the location and space to provide a very great experience but with the selection and state of disrepair they have allowed certain parts to fall into they just don't have that gotta go there pull. Bring in a few good retail options, something you can't find everywhere else. Add a few good quick and maybe a nice sit in eatery. Then people will know what Walnut square is! Right now your just a big parking lot with a couple niche stores in a very oversaturated environment! Get some drive and ambition and bring us, the consumer, to your giant lot! But until then your just another spot to park and take a nap while the old lady goes perusing the hobby lobby...

Being from Houston and being really close to the gulf you get some really fantastic fresh seafood. The fried shrimp and boiled shrimp that you get in Oklahoma City is not that great. But at Pier 88 in Oklahoma City, the fried shrimp and boiled shrimp is some the best that I've had for sure! That fried shrimp tastes like they fly in the shrimp daily. I know that it's not but they got something figured out. It's amazing. It's fresh. It's hot. It's seasoned well. I used to love catfish but not too much anymore. However, I will only eat it here! it is amazing. Not a huge fan of the decor. I think it looks really trashy and they shouldn't have let people ride on their walls. Awesome shopping complex with many, many shops of all different types to fulfill your shopping needs. There are big stores, small stores, plus a great steak place-Outback!! There are many other places that just don't have time to mention, I'm pretty sure there are another 1 or 2 eating places. Vintage stock is in this complex, it is the biggest Vintage Stock in the OKC area, also DD's Discounts is in this shopping center. It is a new store as far as I know, they have many different clothing items, shoes, and apparel for men, women,& children at a discounted price and all name brand. I was really impressed with DD's Discounts. There are many other shops and stores in this complex. Recommended to each and everyone...
