
The waitress was terrible, she didn't know their drink menu. We asked for 2 lemonades with pomegranate she brought us alcoholic drinks and when we told her we didn't order alcohol her reply was, "well I assumed you wanted alcohol because we don't sale lemonade with pomegranate. First of all if you don't know your drink menu it's best to ask and not just assume. After about 2 minutes of trying to tell us they didn't have the drink she finally asked someone who confirmed that we were right and we finally got our drinks corrected. Now mind you this was just the first thing that happened. 2nd the kids ask for Sprite and she brought them out carbonated water. 3rd our order was wrong she told us she would get it corrected and never did. 4th. She only brought us 4 utensils to share between 8 people. At first I was going to report her to the manager, but I didn't, I let all of that slide and still gave her the 18% gratuity = $47.50 which I strongly thought she didn't deserve. This is what took the cake though, I looked at my bank account on Monday morning and $20 more was charged to my debit card, at first I was like, I know this waitress didn't add on herself an additional tip. So what I did is waited until Pier 88 opened @ 11am I went back with my receipt I asked for a manager, I told her what we had experienced whil dinning there, I then told her I'm not going to assume that this waitress tried to steal for me I wanted her to tell me what happened and why my card had been charged an extra $20. The manager went and got the receipt and came back and said, well see right here you gave her and extra $20 tip. I was like oh no I didn't, I said that's not even my hand writing. So this waitress waited until after we left and added herself an additional $20 tip. The manager tells me, "well she doesn't work until tomorrow can you let me talk to her frist and I'll call you back after." I was like no we will not wait until tomorrow this girl tried to steal from me and you think I'm going to wait, No I will not. So the manager says well let me get her on the phone, she leaves and go to the back and come back up and say, well we are going to give you your $20 back and take it out of the waitress pay, I said oh no you won't, you will give me the whole $67.50 back because this person don't deserve a tip I told her what she should be doing is calling her in to terminate her. The Manager proceeded to try and tell me about their gratuity policy and how we had over 6 people, by this time I'm really angry and frustrated and being to get loud , I said do you honestly think I'm going to give this girl a tip and she tried to steal from me you got to be out of your mind. The manager then went to the register and gave me the $67.50 back without as much as an apology or anything and turned her back.
This is the horrible experience we had at pier 88.
So my next move is I'm going to call the corporate office, and then call the Better Business Bureau and report them. I just might call the police and report them for credit card fraud.

Read moreI honestly debated leaving this review but after night I said screw it. I hands down will never step foot in this place again. I eat a lot of seafood and cajun food and this was by far the worse I've ever had. So for starters we show up. Took forever for waitress to actually come over. Place wasn't that busy at all. Another 20 minutes later we finally got our drinks. My beer was warm by then. I ordered a dozen oysters and they were absolute disgusting. I at a couple of them and pushed them away. I will typical inhale several dozen oysters but these had me feeling sick. Then the waitress finally brings the calamari my wife ordered about 20 minutes later and they were so tough it was like chewing on a condom. So we didn't eat that either. During this time frame the waitress asked if I would like another beer and I said yes. Finally it was brought to me and of course it was warm too. By this point I'm already frustrated. Food tasted like it came from the wishapp and our waitress would dissappear for 15-20 minutes at a time. So then when she finally shows up I tell her she can go ahead and take the oysters bc I wasn't going to eat them. Waitress asked if something was wrong and I said yeah they just tasted wierd and I wasn't going to risk it. So she has thr manager come over, some Asian lady who is rude as hell. She asks what is wrong and I told her they were the worst oysters I've ever had and I didn't want to risk it by eating them. She then goes into arguing with me about them and how they're fresh and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. She got defensive almost about trying to give a refund when I never asked for one. I told her I didn't care if they refunded or not, as that wasn't what I was trying to do seeing as how it was just a measly $22. Finally I had to tell her to just take them away and I wasn't eating them period. At this point she just grabbed the tray and walked away. Only thing good of this though is after our argument fiasco our waitress actually showed up a lot and always made sure everything was good. Finally got our main course and it was just kinda bleeeh. Had a lot better. So then we get the ticket and the manager took 50% off the oysters. Lol. Being a business owner, if I found out one of my managers treated a customer like she did last night I'd have that person fired immediately. Not saying the customer is always right but when someone tells it tasts funny and somethings wrong then maybe not freaken argue and try and make it right. Even our waitress was like I can't believe she did that and she won't even take that off the bill. Read moreOn July 30th , 2023 around 8:15 p.m. I called in a order for a low country boil, from the Pierr 88 location in the village of north Oklahoma City. I payed $32.04 for the seafood bag. I am a loyal customer up until now . I purchase boils at least 3 times a month with no complaints and is always very satisfied. On July 30th, I went too pick up my called in order. When I made it home nothing was in my bag but sausage and shrimp. It usually and supposed too comes with 1/2 pound crab legs , 1/2 pound shrimp , sausage , egg , corn, and potato. I didn’t have anything in the bag but sausage and shrimp . I immediately called the restaurant and let them know what was going on . I was told no manager was in and too call back the next day. The next day came (today) I called back and still no manager was available too speak with me . I saved the food and brought it back up too the restaurant. A host then goes on too call a manager at another location, comes back and tell me that they couldn’t give me a refund or remake the order because most of the food was eaten . WHICH IS WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS !! (NOTHING WAS IN THE BAG BUT SHRIMP AND SAUSAGES) they didn’t refund me or remake my order . Told me that there wasn’t an corporate office and there was nothing else they can do . I had too do my own research too find that there in fact was a corporate and that’s why I’m contacting you guys now . I was a very loyal customer and I’m totally in awe at how the whole situation was handled .
