Horrible experience with the framing department every time I've gone. 1 month ago I went with my husband for one of his pieces of art. The associate didn't want to be bothered. She wanted us to know exactly what I wanted and not help make with options. All the items were behind a desk and we couldn't really compare. (Normans is accessible and they let you put the frames next to yournitems) 2nd time i went was 2 weekends ago. I needed a map taken out of my frame. I was told they needed to do it and will put it back in when i got it framed at the Norman location. The store manager told me no one in framing is there until tomorrow but she took the frame and left a sticky note with my name, number, what i needed, and by when (thursday). Tuesday rolls around and i havent heard from them yet. I called and i was told "the item was just left and we didnt know what needed to be done." I told them i watched the manager write my info and put it on the frame on their desk in the back. She told me there was nothing. I told her okay...well i just need the map out so i can get it signed. She told me i could just take it out myself and asked what map. I was flabbergasted. She knew what map i was talking about just before. I let her know thats not what norman told me and what map I'm talking. Her response was we dont have a new framing supervisor until next week....okay? I dont need a supervisor for you to just take the map out. We went back and forth for 5ish mins and i finally said. "Just take the map out i dont have time to take it to norman right now and i'll pick up the map out of the frame and everything else. Then I'll just take it to norman to get it fixed." Finally got her to understand what I want and they got it done within 2 hours. Went to norman once i got it signed and NO ISSUES. Normans is amazing. Read moreToday was my first time shopping at Michaels and I will not be going back! I ordered a gift for my children for Christmas with curbside pickup. When I arrived the parking lot was super busy and the pickup spaces were full. So I followed the instructions on the website and parked in the closest space I could get and gave a description of my vehicle. I waited 45 minutes before calling to ask what was taking so long, the person on the phone says someone must have forgot to pull it. By this time the pickup spaces have opened up so they ask me to go ahead and pull to a pickup space, I say yeah of course and move my truck. Then an employee comes out with my order and starts arguing with me about whether the parking spaces were full when I arrived and telling me that there's no where to leave a discription of your vehicle online.(there is) and that she wasn't about to try to guess which vehicle I was in. She was extremely rude! It's Christmas, I have been running around picking stuff up all day, I'm ready to be home with my kids! Read moreFor some reason there seems to be a breakdown in communication from the corporate to the store to the managing elements on what exactly their price matching policy is. When you go and store they tell you they only price match cricket.com. However, whenever you go to their website and look at the eligible online retailers there are quite a few that are listed including amazon.com and walmart.com. they always try to give me flack about having to price match either one and I've called in to customer service four times at this point and it still hasn't been resolved. I had a manager tell me tonight that corporate had toldthe store manager that they don't price match these websites even though they're listed on their website. Then try to say that the words subject to change listed underneath is proof that they don't have to price match them. well if that was the case then that would also require them taking that retailer off their website.
