This was the first time I have been here. Based on reviews I decided to go here. I called to make a reservation for my party. I was told I had to pay a $50 deposit. I told the lady over the phone that I have never paid a restaurant a $50 deposit to reserve a table and that I will not pay it. If they couldn’t accommodate me to let me know. She said it was fine. 15 minutes later a different lady calls for the same thing demanding $50 (at this point I should have just took my Buisness else where, but I tried giving them a chance). After I told her no I was not gonna pay she then said it was fine. Later a 3 person calls asking for the same thing. At this point I was irritated and frustrated. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt. They told me in the past that people had stood them up, but I reassured her that if she is calling me a third time to confirm than she should know I will be there. I find it odd to pay a reservation and demand my credit card information over the phone. I have NEVER paid for a reservation even at the “finest” wine and dine places. I thought this was ridiculous and told the lady that I will take my Buisness else where. She insisted it was okay and that she will see me and my party. When I got there we were immediately greeted by the hostess and sat at are table. The waiter seemed like she was either having a bad day or irritated with my party. She topped our drinks once and rarely checked up on us after food was ordered. The only time she consistently checked up on me was for payment. She gave me my ticket in the middle of me eating and kept checking back every 10 minutes during my meal to pay. We were no where near finished as my party was still trying to get dessert so she had to take back the check several times to adjust the ticket correctly. I thought this was rude as I felt like I was being kicked out or rushed to leave. I feel that it is common sense and knowledge to check in with the customer and see if they would like there ticket first and order dessert etc before handing it over and hounding one for payment. Maybe had she checked that we wanted desert she wouldn’t have had to change the ticket 3 times. Instead she was focused on us paying and leaving. I didn’t enjoy my meal as much as I could of and nothing more irritating is when someone is demanding payment in the middle of you trying to take a bite to eat. I felt embarrassed in front of my guests that I invited for this dinner. I felt like I couldn’t enjoy my meal. I do have to say the sushi is phenomenal. Probably the best sushi I have had in a long time, however the service was terrible. I would not recommend for any type of birthday, anniversary, celebration etc dinner. I’ve never ordered to go so maybe I might do that and see if that experience is better. However I’m still blown away at the horrible customer...
Read moreI think the food is excellent, but you should pay more attention to your waiters at the Penn Park volcano, I ordered a beer to accompany my meal, to which the waitress asked for my ID (totally agree) by not bringing my license with me, I showed my passport Mexican, which identifies me anywhere in the world, to which your employee refused to give me the beer, my question is! Is alcohol exclusive to US citizens or residents?????? I have been to your site many times and they have NEVER asked me for a USA ID, the only thing that the Oklahoma state law requires is that the consumer be over 21 years of age! What does it matter to you what nationality one may have????? Just like you don't care that anyone of any nationality consumes your food!!! I am sure that if I had asked your employee for the USA ID, I doubt what I would have with her, or any of your employees!!! As far as I am concerned, I will not return to your restaurant...
Read moreThis is a Sushi Bar, Not so much a Hibachi Grill. They do not cook in front of you. If you’re looking for Hibachi I don’t recommend this place. Pictured are meals from the Hibachi Grill or Kitchen should I say. I the Steak w/ Fried Rice, and my daughter got the Kids Shrimp w/ Lo mein. The Steak was good, the fried rice was just Ok, the vegetables I’m pretty sure were from the frozen stir fry you buy at the grocery store. Not fresh or very good at all. My daughter didn’t even get any vegetables. The Lo Mein was made with angel hair pasta of sorts, they were slimy and sticky, so it wasn’t quite the same as your traditional Lo Mein, made with a bigger noodle. I didn’t eat any of the vegetables and didn’t ask for a to-go take them with me. I told my server I didn’t like them and she said ok and left it at that. Needless to say I won’t be coming back here for Hibachi. I wasn’t full and...
