I am 48, have traveled around the world and frequented many Jewelers. I happen to have a ring that was custom made by a Native American artist and it lost one of its stones. This ring has great sentimental value to me. I was surprised how challenging it was to find anyone that would even consider looking at it to repair in the Tampa area. After one quick conversation with Jewlers Bench I headed down to see them.. I was impressed with how well they listened to my concerns, their professional knowledge, how well they communicate, and their meticulous attention to details. While we chatted they cleaned my wedding ring at no charge.. I have had it cleaned many times past but they cleaned it better than I have ever seen (still spalling weeks later).. I left my Native American ring with them. They were quickly able to find a perfect matching natural stone to replace the lost one (very hard to find), they shaped and replaced the stone, improved the remaining stones and cleaned the ring at a very reasonable price. FANTASTIC!! I am not only impressed with their workmanship and efficiency. In a short time we shared stories that revealed the sincere quality of the people that own this wonderful business. I not only found a business, fine craftsmen and artist, I found very good people I value and trust. I have shared my story with my family so they know where to go and wanted to post this for public view as well. Please support this local owned and amazing business in our community. We are fortunate...
Read moreMy grandmother passed away and each of us granddaughters picked a jewelry item of hers as a remembrance. I picked a lovely emerald ring since it was my birthstone. Only problem was that her ring size was much larger than my own. The ring was an 8 and I needed a 6. I googled "jewelers" and came across Jeweler's Bench and saw all the positive reviews. So I decided to come in and bring my ring for resizing.
Juan was so friendly. I explained to him about the ring and he shared a story with me about his father's watch. We agreed that sometimes a piece of jewelry doesn't have to be "your style" to still have great personal meaning. And that something like being able to wear the ring would help me keep my grandmother close to heart and mind.
Took only a few days for my ring to be resized. The work was flawless and the ring fits perfectly. You'd never know it had been modified. Juan was friendly and helpful and very personable and I'm glad to leave this review to help support a local business. I will certainly be back anytime I need a jeweler. Highly...
Read moreedit the owner reached out and fixed the ring at no charge. it is definitely thicker in the resize area. it seems more material was used to make it stronger. we feel confident that it will not come apart now.
purchase the ring there in 2020 for my fiance. a couple days ago the seam from where it was sized broke apart when my wife got it caught on something. brought it back today and they wanted to charge $100 to repair it. The ring was not abused, deformed, or mangled or in any other way showing signs of misuse. The woman at the counter said this happens all the time and that's why they charge. well if it happens all the time maybe it's bad workmanship and they should get somebody better to do this job.
buyer beware. if you buy your rings from them, get them sized somewhere else that you can trust cuz if theirs doesn't last but a few years that's an awful lot of money over the course of a lifetime to repair every...
