Hutch Contract — Local services in Omaha

I'm giving a full 5 star rating to Hutch because it is really a gem of a place that fills all sorts of niches. Now, as a preface; I'm a resident of the general area around the store and walk by at least once or twice a day and I stop in every time I notice something different on the inside.

First up, the staff- Every single person at this store is simply great and superbly approachable. The owner and a couple other staff members do everything from give advice for what pieces fit into a certain place to offer suggestions on wall treatments and decoration. Everything in the store is either used by, owned by, or deeply researched by the people who work there.

Second, the products sold by hutch, whether they be new, used, locally made, or special order are awesome, and of the highest quality. Since they opened, I've furnished a big chunk of my condo with items from their Gus Modern line, and a couple of the local art pieces they sell. The quality, durability and style of these pieces are awesome, and well worth the price.

Finally, a note on the events. Many people don't realize that hutch runs craft workshops, and honestly this is the thing that draws me back to the store even after I've checked off most of my furniture list.

In short, go, check it out, walk around and talk to the employees. This store is definitely the right choice to occupy one of Midtown Crossing's flagship bays, and is worth a trip if...

Purchased a James sectional by Younger Furniture from Hutch. They had a good amount of sectional pieces on the showroom floor which was great. I wanted to avoid ordering something without seeing it in person, and Hutch allowed me to do so thanks to the variety of awesome pieces they had on the floor.

The person working was extremely helpful in answering all my question and they were happy to collect all the fabric swatch booklets for me as well. I felt very welcomed during my entire visit.

They seemed very knowledgeable about the products and furniture vendors, however there was still a slight mix up with our order at the beginning. When we first placed the order, we were told the options we picked qualified for 'quick ship', but got a call a few days later saying it did not. On top of that, the shipment was delayed a few times by the vendor, so overall the piece took quite a bit longer to get than we originally expected. We did however get updates every week so Hutch did a great job of keeping in touch with us despite the delays

In the end everything worked out and our sectional was delivered very quickly after it arrived in Hutch's warehouse. In fact, I believe it was delivered the very next day. The delivery guys were great and overall we really like...

We had the opportunity to work with Teri from Hutch and purchase a slate blue credenza (from Blu Dot) and two chairs (from GUS). The products are awesome and look fantastic in our living room. You can quickly see that both products are high quality and feel like they will last a long time.

The Chairs: Although the chairs have a modern feel, they are extremely comfortable (something we were originally worried about). They also have a classic look that will last overtime and not something that is just trendy that will need to be replaced in a few years.

The Credenza: Very well built and the color was awesome. Was large enough for our room but not overly gaudy.

The experience working with Hutch: Teri was awesome to work with. From helping us pick out the right furniture that complemented our room to making sure we purchased at the right time (to get the best deal). She allowed us to try the furniture in our home before we made the purchase and even let us keep the floor model at a discounted price.

Loved the experience working with Hutch and Teri. Look forward to going back...
