I frequently shop at this Target because it's nearby. I love the setup & how easy it is to find things & the customer service is excellent. The one thing (and only thing) that is seriously aggravating, to me, about this store is the parking & I want to bring this up because no matter what day or time I go there almost all of the reserved parking is open & there is 'ALOT' of reserved parking & if you're not military or have a handicap sticker you need to park far off from the store & at night the lighting isn't that great. Even on days/nights when not busy there is no option to park close to the store. I'm not complaining about having to walk because I'm thankful I'm able to I just think it would be courteous of Target to have a few spaces close to the store for anyone to park especially for pregnant women & new mother's or families with children & elderly. Hopefully they will consider this. Otherwise I love this store & I'll continue shopping here because the employees are wonderful, knowledgeable, considerate, helpful & it is a very clean & safe place. There's always a couple lanes with employed checkers and help with self-checkout. Prices are competitive and there's always an option to order if they don't carry what you are looking for. Also the employees have offered many times to check other stores nearby that possibly carry item & help with online orders. I've never had a negative experience at this location 72nd & Dodge st Omaha. Highly recommend if you don't mind searching for parking & parking far away on a busy day while there is plenty of open parking that is reserved & often empty. I'd like to thank Target for keeping this location open, it may not be as big as the others but they have a wide variety of groceries & awesome clothing & self-care departments!! Thankyou for taking the time to...
Read moreWhat's happening to this store? It looks like Target is getting ready to shut it down, or the manager is out-of-touch and never actually walks the floor.
Hundreds and hundreds of empty hooks, empty spots in the freezers, and serious gaps on the shelves.
The online app does not even come close to matching the displayed inventory. Today, it took them over an hour to figure out that they couldn't fill my online order because the item was out of stock. A similar item, shown as being in stock but in different section of the store, was also not actually in stock.
An item that showed in stock, was not on its hook. I went online in the store and ordered it for pickup. The next day Target informed me that the item was out of stock and I would have to make other arangements.
July 21 update: Yesterday evening, after hours, I ordered an item. There were 2 of them "in stock". This morning I get an email stating that the item was not in stock and that I would have to go to another store in the area or wait for delivery (for delivery, I could get it faster on Amazon). When I tried to select a different store online (that also shows 2 in stock). nothing happened.
Target has this lame concept of Just In Time stocking. The problem is, that customers are not robots on an assembly line.

Read moreWorst retail experience I’ve had in sometime that was, unfortunately, at this Target a few days ago. I’m unsure if this location has recently hired a bunch of unqualified temps for the holiday season or what the deal is, but every interaction with the staff was rude and snide for absolutely no reason. I just needed help from an employee to unlock a 3.5 mm aux-to-lightening Apple cable in the electronic section for purchase. I was directed, by an outside sales rep, to the store cashier in the electronic department and when I approached to ask if he could help, I was rudely notified that he was “off the clock”. I get that, no problem. However, when I asked if someone else was available I was cut off mid sentence with an emphatic, “no” repeated twice accompanied by a firm shaking of the head. Why go to such length to be so nasty and unhelpful? After this bizarre exchange, I wandered the store for another 10 minutes trying to find an employee to complete this simple request. It was like pulling teeth to track down anyone who, after explaining what I needed, didn’t act completely incredulous or somehow insulted that they had been asked to help in any manner, or help find one of their colleagues who could help unlock a $9.00 cord. Bizarre experience all around and I think I will be avoiding this...
