I don’t understand what the big hype is about. Burgers were average at BEST, staff was rude and unhelpful, prices were outrageous.
The burgers were simply not that great, the fries weren’t either for how fresh they are supposed to be. Biggest pet peeve is when you order a cheeseburger and they give you a plain burger. No custom house options for sauce or anything like that. The Cajun fries were over seasoned with an off putting blend of spices.
The staff (8-10 people!) didn’t greet us, and all stared mouths agape as we looked through the menu. Staff was loud and obnoxious, yelling at each other the whole time.
For 2 burgers and a small order of fries we paid nearly 26$. No drinks. For that price I was expecting quality, not a hastily slapped together burger with meager toppings and a smushed bun. You can tell the price is due to them being entirely over staffed. I don’t mind people having fun at their job, but I hate paying extra for a large group of people standing around doing little else besides telling off color jokes to each other.
Your money would be better spent at almost any other burger joint in Omaha.
Extremely disappointed, don’t understand the ratings that they have. Will not be back unless management would like to reach out to me regarding the staffs rude and...
Read morePicked up an order at Five Guys @ 72nd & Dodge in Omaha NE evening of Sunday, April 18th. Drove home and the two burgers had certain toppings that were on the wrong burger. Also I had originally wanted a large fry but was talked out of it though I explained the size I’d ordered previously. The cashier stated I wanted a regular. So I ordered that - and it was NOT the size I explained at all, but smaller. When I called it in, the gentleman simply offered to remake or give a credit. There was no apology, no consideration for what we went through, and he appeared basically unconcerned. When I said I’ll just pickup the correct order, on entering the establishment, the blonde girl and the gentleman I had talked with - wearing the only black cap, tall, caucasian, dark hair - both yelled out that I can’t give food back when I displayed the bag I was returning. Still no apology or consideration for my plight. The gentleman also made a snide remark to her, “load up the order with fries”, as if I was asking a lot?!?? Maybe I hurt their feelings of professionalism because of THEIR mistakes? Either way, I was under the impression I was the customer. When the order was ready, he just added, “sorry bout that” and went on his way. So I’ve decided to never patronize such a caustic...
Read moreI call in to order a burger so I wouldn't have to wait. I did this the day before and all went really well. This time they had an incompetent, weird guy running the register...he made me wait for a bus load of people to finish ordering before he would let me pay for my takeout. I asked for his name, he said "None of my business". I said, "Oh really, I would like a new burger!" Instead of getting a new burger he looked all weird like I was inconveniencing him. I continued to complain as he tried to give me the receipt. At that point he could shoved that receipt where the sun doesn't shine bc I was already hot and didn't want anything from him. So again, instead of getting a new burger right away, he went in the register to refund my money. Fine, I stil didn't want to deal with him so I told him to put it on the counter. It was the worst customer service I've ever been involved in and I'll never return to that store. There should have been a better policy for take out customers who call ahead to place an order, no matter how many walk in customers you get. Pitiful and pathetic to the guy who wouldn't give his name bc he was so horribly inadequate, incompetent and overall ill-equipped for this...
