The setting was very unprofessional, the staff obviously didn't know what they were doing and they were not very reliable.
I, the groom and his groomsmen came into the store unsure whether we were going to go with black or dark grey tuxes. When we got inside we were immediately asked if we were renting or buying. We said we were renting. I told her we were not sure which color we were looking for, but I was hoping the groom could try on a jacket and see which color he looked better in. They said he was not allowed to try anything on, as he was not buying. The wall was completely lined with jackets, and we weren't allowed to try anything on? Okay, I let it go.
We originally chose to go here because they color matched with David's Bridal, and we already bought the bridesmaid dresses. When I asked to see the Wisteria color, they pulled out vest samples, but could not find the Wisteria one. I even brought the David's Bridal swatch. They pulled out a light colored one that looked similar to lavender/lilac. The lady even said, "No, that can't be it. That doesn't match." Eventually they decided that WAS the wisteria color. The fact that they didnt think that was the correct color, tells you that it didn't match. Once again, I let it go, even though the ONLY reason we came here was because they color matched. They asked us which pattern we wanted, and I asked for plain, no design. The bridesmaid dresses were lace, I didn't think anything would match. After searching several minutes, another salesperson said they don't have plain. The salesperson also did not know which sock options were available.
Thursday night, when the boys went to pick up their tuxes MONTHS down the road, one did not fit correctly as they wrote down the measurements wrong. They told us they would not have this tux done until 11am THE DAY OF THE WEDDING! My husband called and I spoke with the salesperson myself. Our wedding was an hour from Onalaska, there was no way we would have enough time to take pictures! She said she would give us $40 off the tux that was late. After going back and forth, she finally decided she could meet us at 10am in the same city as our wedding. I am happy she was finally willing to work with us, but they should not be waiting until three days until the wedding for them to get...
Read moreHorrible experience. I spent over an hour and a half there and nothing was accomplished. Customer service was terrible and the person couldn’t even find my order. He said he would set our suits out in the dressing room and come get us. 45 minutes goes by and I hear him tell another customer the same thing so I ask what about us and he says, who are you? Then he sets out the wrong suit for a guy named Dominic. The guy didn’t even have the same last name as me. I asked where my suit is and he says my suit isn’t here. It was like I was in a dream. This guy was saying one thing and doing the opposite. He said my order doesn’t exist even though I showed him the receipt. I was told there was nothing he could do and he didn’t know if my suit would be here or not next week. I asked when the manager would be there so I could get help figuring this out and he said tomorrow. I told him I will give him my number and they can call me. He says ok and then walks away again. I waited for help and nothing so I finally just left. Unbelievable.I had to call the customer service line for them to help. Now I have to pick the suit up Wednesday. We’ll see...
Read moreGreat experience. Chris went above and beyond to help out me and my girlfriend. I've never worn what we call "fancy people clothes" and was very apprehensive about coming in here. I had heard that they get paid commission and felt like I was going to get railroaded. Not the case at all.
I was really suprised at the affordability first of all. The large selection of clothes from business casual to tuxedos, they had it all. Chris helped me pick out what I needed, and once again, I was suprised at the affordability. He was really knowledgeable, patient with my lack of knowledge, and most importantly, I didn't feel taken advantage of. Matter of fact, I was insistent that I wear a tie. He said it wouldn't be necessary but helped me pick out a different shirt that could go with the same pants that would look slick with a tie. Walked away, with a pair of slack, 2 button ups, a tie, and a nice pair of dress shoes for about $350
Overall, I was pleasantly suprised with the whole experience and 100% will be back for church clothes soon. Hopefully, mens warehouse gives Chris a promotion though. Can't emphasize enough how cool he...
