I decided to check the place out, see how “newer and better” it was. Last time I went before this last visit was back when they still had the animatronics.
First of all, the food was way pricier than I remember it being, secondly, I was outraged seeing an advertisement for Ryan’s World on the big screen where the stage used to be, is it not clear to the public that his parents should be arrested for all the abuse behind all this? Why does CEC still support it?
Oh and here’s the straw that broke the camel’s back. The technician there, Kevin, cussed at me for no reason. Since I know he worked there a long time, I was just curious to see what his thoughts were about all the changes and such.
But get this, I didn’t even say 4 words to the guy, all I did was say hi and introduce myself, he says “I don’t give a shit, I’m busy.” Like come on, I don’t know what’s wrong with your life, or if you hate your job, but you have no right to cuss at a guest like that.
That was enough proof right there that this Chuck E. Cheese is no longer the family friendly place of joy it once was, but now a passive aggressive disgusting shell of what it used to be.
If you wanna take your kids to a Chuck E. Cheese, take them to the one in Springfield Illinois. Not only do they have animatronics, but the staff there is much friendlier. As for a local ordinary arcade near Wisconsin or Minnesota, there’s plenty others that are much better than this sad shell of what it was.
Please, for the love of god, don’t make the mistake of taking your kids somewhere where people are only there to make a check, this is one of those places.
Ultimately, I’m never stepping foot into this location again, I hope to god it...
Read moreI haven’t been here in years and today was a reminder of why. Waited in line to pay 55 dollars for a sampler platter, two sodas and half hour of play time. Three different sodas were out and I let two different employees know which one replied with “we’re really busy”. I waited 15 mins, checked and still running clear. Gave up. Party was done at 2:30 and 2:24 I went to the counter asking where my sampler platter was a 1.5 hours later. Mind you, two other people in our party did not receive their pizzas who were in line right behind me. One had to go up and ask about it at 2:20 and it was finally in the oven after asking two different employees. The other pizza wasn’t even made and they requested to have theirs boxed up to go. I’m not sure who’s running the place but it surely isn’t what it used to be. Oh and then they have the audacity to complain about the 3pm parties coming in and the 12:30 parties not out yet. Perhaps if they offered better service as a business for the over paying customers, it wouldn’t be an issue. Over priced and poorly ran. One of the kids even made it out the door without being checked. What is the point of the hand stamp?

Read moreThis Chuck E. Cheese I have personally been to for most of my birthdays when I was younger so I do have fond memories of this location's arcade pizzeria growing up. My folks and I take my 4 nieces and nephew up there. They always have a blast playing the games, enjoy eating their pizza, and earning prizes or treats from their tickets. However, recently the last few visits I'm noticing most of the employees aren't very engaging when you have a question as you have to get their attention even while you're standing at the counter. The pizza is good and the prices are a bit high, but at least they do offer coupons on their website so that you can save some money. The only true critiques is that I wish the employees were more engaging with their customers (if possible) and they kept the place as fairly clean as they can (i.e. wipe the tables and booths often, check the restrooms for garbage take-out & restock necessities). Other than that it's a good place for kids and their...
