Time Out Day Spa — Local services in Orange City

My girlfriend and I made an appointment at this location for 2pm on 6/25, not as a couples massage, but two separate massages at the same time. An employee contacted me around noon (two hours before the appointment) and informed me the ac was broken and my appointment was cancelled. However, my girlfriend never received the same phone call. Instead, she received a phone call at 2:05 asking where she was and asking why she did not show up for her appointment. We called the business back and asked why hers wasn’t cancelled but mine was, stating that I had gotten a call that the ac was broken, but she never had. When I spoke with the employee, there was a lot of “ums” and “I’m not sure” and “you were told the ac was broken? Well it is warm in here, it could be”. My parents recommended this place to me, but after this obvious lack of professionalism, I don’t see myself or my family...

"I have been a loyal client at Time Out Day Spa for some time now and have always appreciated their services. However, my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. Due to circumstances beyond my control, we had to miss and appointment for me and my friend on Mother's Day. Despite my explanation and long-standing patronage, they charged me a hefty 50% of the service fee. This lack of flexibility and understanding was very disheartening, especially on a day meant for celebration. Very friendly staff & owner. 4 star instead of 5 because it wasn't a unique or super relaxing experience. The mani/pedi portion of our day was lacking alot of luster. We had a half day at the spa & walked out with our feet still dirty. I'm glad we got regular polish so it's easy to remove. Our nails aren't fully covered & blotchy.
