Ice Cream Fundaes — Restaurant in Orange City

Ice Cream Fundaes serves Hershey Creamery Ice Cream. Please note: Hershey Creamery is in no way shape or form related to Hershey Foods. I lived in PA most of my life and Hershey Creamery is located in Harrisburg, PA. Hershey, PA is close by but very little Hershey's production takes place in Hershey. Most of it is done in Mexico and is foreign owned now. My enthusiasm for Hershey Foods is about zero. But, I'm a big fan of PA owned Hershey Creamery Ice Cream. Ice Cream Fundaes is in an old worn down building and isn't pretty to look at. But, inside the staff serves up really creamy ice cream. There about 40 flavors and the menu includes sherbet and NSA ice cream, milkshakes and all manor of sundaes for your enjoyment. The staff has been one or two young men who work hard and appear to enjoy helping and serving customers. When not serving customers they are cleaning and straightening. They are very good and I am their big supporter. According to the menu Nathan's Hot dogs are also served there but I've not been there when they've been ordered. We go later strictly for the ice cream. There are table games for folks to enjoy while enjoying their treats. There are two tables outside but are pretty worn out and uncomfortable. And folks, this is Florida and evenings outside means mosquitos. I recommend staying inside. Ice Cream Fundaes is located beside the Orange City Library with a very modest sign denoting its location off of a busy road. When leaving you will need to turn right out of the parking lot because of the one way street coming off of Volusia...

Honestly an amazing experience. If you’re a fan of ice cream, arcades, and games then this is 100% the place for you. So many flavors make you have to think do you want many scoops or one. Their topping selection is definitely got many choices to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful to provide knowledge on the flavors. The a environment was nice and simple. If you wanted to enjoy ice cream you can but if you wanna mix it up you can play a board game or checkers. Once you’re done with your ice cream you or your family can enjoy the small arcade they have full of mixed games: like claw machines, basketball, skeeball, and more, but my favorite is the Minecraft dungeons arcade because you get to get cards to play with the arcade. Prices for the arcade card were not cheap but not expensive. For me and my friend we got about 18 rounds of the Minecraft game and 2 plays of the claw machines. Overall I recommend this for everyone, families, couples, kids, teens, adults, seniors, family reunion, anything. Will definitely be coming back

First time trying this place out because there was a coupon we received in the mail. Both me and my husband bought and each milkshake had two different flavors. Well the boy behind the counter had an attitude and it was clearly shown and the girl he was working with even asked him what is your problem and he continued to have an attitude even when I would ask him questions it would type answers like hurry up lady order ur ice cream. I had asked for some sort of cheesecake and the regular coconut with the shavings and whipped cream since he was in a bad mood he ended up giving me the coconut ice cream that had the chocolate chips which I did not like but once I realized it was in my shake as I was drinking it I decided not to complain because I didn't want to deal with that guy again. Kind of put a damper on my first time there even though the place was cute inside. the girl was very nice. 7/9/25
