I agree with everyone who said save your money. I haven't had a horrible experience here as far as the food is concerned. Until now it has always been okay...what you'd expect from a fast food restaurant. The employees are generally just your typical lazy teenagers (no offense to those teenagers out there who actually want to and do work their butts off - I know you're out there) working the counter with no real customer service experience or drive. But Saturday 10/24 my other half wanted a burger from Jack in the Box, one I found out later they don't have anymore. When I asked at the drive through if they had the pepper bacon cheeseburger, the attendant, who very obviously did not speak fluent English, could not understand what I was asking her. It was a frustrating experience to say the least. So I ordered him a different burger and myself a spicy chicken sandwich and paid $15 for those two sandwiches and some fries. I grabbed a couple fries out of the bag on the way home. They tasted wrong; like the fryer grease hadn't been changed for some time. Since I always look forward to seasoned fries, this was a huge disappointment. When I got home and took a bite of my sandwich it was like biting into leather. The chicken patty was thin and brown inside (not white like even fake chicken should be), as though it had been sitting out for a long time then microwaved. It was completely inedible. I looked around for my receipt to fill out a survey, but they hadn't given me one. So for all I know, they overcharged me and skimmed the profit. I don't eat fast food a lot, but I know where I won't go next time I'm out to grab something fast. Don't bother with this Jack in the...
Read moreHard to review when they are closed on a Sunday at 11 am. I tried to order online but kept getting errors so I just went to the store directly to order. Come to find out all the lights were off inside and the open signs were also off. No notes left on the doors or at the drive thru window to tell people they were closed. I waited in the line that had formed while people at there trying to order. They have left the open signs off at this location before so I assumed they forgot to turn them on again. Once I saw every car leaving the drive thru I realized they were closed. Waste of time. Last time I went too the couldn't make half the food that was on the breakfast menu because they were out of stock on ingredients. This location needs to get their act together. Great way to lose business
Update: went again today and tried to order online/app so I could use some promo codes and discounts (cuz who wants to pay $7 for a microwaved breakfast sandwich) and I was unable to make submit my payment. The button to submit it never activated so I was stuck on the check out screen. Then I tried to scan my receipt after to collect the rewards and it came up with error codes every time. The gal thru the drive thru acted like she didn't even know what the online app ordering was when I asked why I couldn't ever submit thru there. Better customer service and training is definitely needed.
Side note: employees smoking right in front of the entrance isn't the greatest either. I took a photo recently of a gal doing so. U can see a cigarette in her hand when she was reaching up to...
Read moreI have not walked into a Jack in the Box in a long time, so if this one is any indication, the company must be bankrupt and shutting its doors soon.
Food: what did I just pay $15 for?!? I ordered a sourdough jack. What I got looked absolutely nothing like the photo on the menu. The bacon was so thin and short I almost missed it. It might as well have been 2, 2 inch rectangular pieces of brown tissue paper. The sandwich itself was maybe an inch thick, flat and lifeless, whereas the photo look super thick, bright and tasty. Flavor wise, there wasn't much, basically a salty piece of meat on bread.
Service: Seemed mostly like extremely annoyed teenagers who really didn't want to be there. No smile, hardly a forced greeting from the cashier and I had to ask twice, to confirm, she heard me ask for no mayo. The impression I got from the cashier and person who brought me my sandwich, was very similar to the look and actions I get from my 10yo, when I tell him to clean his room.
Atmosphere: This location looks like one of those buildings you see that have been vacant for so long, everyone forgot it was there. Old crumbling parking lot, dusty windows sun worn paint, abandoned looking furniture in the dinning area, a broken soda dispenser, dirty bathrooms, and so on.
Overall, I should have stuck with my gut feeling, when I pulled into the parking lot and just left. As it was, I already had to drive out of my way to find some sort of food and this place will never be a stop...
