Allred's Ace Hardware Orem — Local services in Orem

I'm super happy we've got an Ace around now! The store was bright and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are comparable to other hardware stores. Although the store is smaller, they have a good selection of pretty much everything you'd need. In a lot of ways, I prefer stores like this to the big box stores. It's a lot easier to find stuff since it's more compact. Additionally the sales associate to customer ratio is higher, so it's easier to find help if you've got a question.

Update: I went there today to pick up some screws and was pleasantly surprised at the huge selection and low prices. I bought a bunch of self-tapping screws previously from Home Depot, but about half would break. I figured I'd try screws from Ace. None of the screws from Ace broke! The store is great! It has fair prices for most of the items you'll find there. In my case the prices were the lowest I could find. I came to the store for the Ego electric yard tool products. If they didn't have what I was looking for at the store right when I wanted it, then they were either able to get a hold of it or have it shipped to them.

Oh! And it is locally owned. I was fortunate enough to be helped by the owner, Steve. He was really knowledgeable about the products I was buying as well as other products that they sold there such as Trager grills/smokers. He or any one else on his staff will go above and beyond when helping you.

I'm EXTREMELY impressed with the level of customer service I receive EVERY time I go to ACE Hardware in Orem. Every time I enter the store, one of the employees asks if I need some help and I usually let them know what I'm looking for and they are quick to help me find what I need. The other day I had them cut some keys for me and when I had a problem with one of the keys that was cut, the manager was quick to refund me for the key and apologize for any inconvenience. I'm seriously impressed with the friendliness of ALL the employees at this store and the exceptional service of the store manager to put the customer first and make sure the customers are satisfied.
