The Appliance Outlet - Orem — Local services in Orem

This is a little bit of a strange review because I actually did not purchase my appliances from this store, but if you read on you will understand why I am giving this store five stars. I had been working with a business by the same name that was located in West Jordan. I had basically been ghosted by Jason on having some things fixed that had gone wrong with my purchases and delivery. Long story short... The oven stove combo was delivered and broke on the side(this was not part of the original scratch and dent). When we finally got that replaced it was plugged in and came up with an error code so we had to have somebody come and look at it. They said it couldn't be fixed and so it was replaced with another one just like it. Once we got that one plugged in it had the same error codes. I opted to just return it and buy a new appliance. As far as the refrigerator goes, the movers put a huge dent and scratch down the front of it when they were delivering it. The movers let Jason know what had happened. The movers took some pictures and he said that they would have the parts ordered and it would be fixed in no time. I said no worries. I called several times at first and I was getting answers that just kept putting me off. Jason kept saying that it was ordered and that it was on back order, it would be here in a couple months, and so on and so on. At one point I just got completely ghosted and no one would answer my calls or talk to me. I was getting desperate and so I looked up the store and found that there was another one in Orem. I called that store and I actually found out that it was ran by his cousin named Jesse and even though they were related, their stores ran independently. However, he asked me what I was dealing with and when I told him he said that he would see what he could do. He was great in getting back with me. He also was very diligent and made sure that everything was handled. This was after 9 months of frustration with Jason at the store in West Jordan! Jesse had kind of gotten the same type of responses that I had and been told that the parts were on back order and so on and so on. He really pushed to get these things handled and even demanded to see the receipt that they had been purchased. I'm so appreciative to Jesse and his store in handling this issue. I don't think it would have been taken care of at all if I hadn't found him and his help! He responded to me every single time and sometimes even reached out to let me know where things stood! I really wish I would have purchased my stuff through him and I wouldn't have been so frustrated with the whole situation! I absolutely love my refrigerator and would recommend purchasing appliances through Jesse at the Appliance Outlet. We came here for a dishwasher after trying Home Depot. At Home Depot we would have paid over $500 for a fancier dishwasher than we need plus more than $200 for delivery and install. We found a dishwasher here for $400 and were able to deliver it ourselves and he recommend someone for install for $100. We haven’t installed it yet so I will update when we do, but I wanted to write a review on how helpful he was.. first of all he was fully transparent on the condition of the dishwasher, second he gave us a install kit for free when he could have easily charged us $10-20 like what you would get at Home Depot or Lowe’s . Finally we asked him if his plumber would be able to help us with our fridge. Long story short, the Lowe’s guys saw our water line was cut when delivering our fridge and told us too bad get a plumber. For almost two years we’ve had no ice machine thinking we’d have to pay big bucks to fix it. When we told him about this, he gave us a tube for free, told us what to do, and we did it and boom, we have ice. How simple would it have been for the Lowe’s guys to do that? But no they just left . I will come back here any time we need an appliance because they are honest and really care about their customers rather than just doing the job with minimal effort and getting the money. Purchased a new home for us that needed all new appliances. Went to The Appliance Outlet to see if we could find a set without spending an arm and a leg.

We found a Maytag range and Maytag dishwasher that were both in really great shape. We received a great deal on both appliances AND he offered to deliver the pair that same evening when the store closed. He kept in contact with me when he was leaving and how long it would take to get to my house. They also told us that they would call us when any of their locations would receive a Maytag refrigerator to see if we would want it with the set. Not thinking anything would ever go past this day once they delivered the other two appliances. However, I was wrong. About a month later, I received a call letting us know that they found a Maytag fridge and asked if we were interested. By this time, we had already completed our set, but I was in complete shock that they called to let me know.

This Orem store is AMAZING and very helpful into what we were looking for and sizes. They will definitely be the store we go to first in the future.
