I liked this card shop for a number of reasons. First; it is a decently well-kept shop, rarely is it dirty in a way that is severely off-putting. Second; what staff there is, is usually friendly and does what they can to help. Third; it had an amazing play space.

I no longer enjoy giving this business any amount of my money. The shop is still fairly well-kept, but it no longer has easily accessible and clean restrooms, this is related to another complaint. The staff is rarely more than one staff member even during events. And lastly, they sublet half of their play space to a restaurant. These all compound to inform me that, this shop doesn't want to be a game store, but instead will do anything to squeeze profits with limited reinvestment. Gaining a sub-tenant should mean less tight purse strings allowing proper staffing, but no added staff is present. Reducing space should result in reasonable reorganization of shelving, because a game store should embrace their existence as a hub for the players if they expect players to give them money. Buy here, play here has left the building, what little play space is available is cramped or inconvenient. And the restrooms for the game store are technically in the basement, while the restaurant fails to adequately stock and clean the upstairs facilities, likely because no one wants to have to responsible for cleaning after the others customers. Beware ordering from here!! I ordered two sets of card sleeves over a year ago, after a few months one pack came in (they never even bothered to call and tell me, I just happened to be in the area and checked), and they said the other would be in in about a month. Few more months went by, stopped by again, and they told me my order had gotten cancelled and so they had to reorder it, and it would be a month. Another couple months go by and I stop in again thinking surely they were here by now. Nope. They said they just changed management and that my order had once again gotten cancelled and so they reordered it for me again and said it would be in within a month. It’s been over two months since then. I got a call from them two days ago (no message left), and when I called back no one answered, so I decided to stop in today thinking surely, SURELY they are here. ONCE AGAIN, still not in, the girl at the counter couldn’t even tell me why I’d been called two days prior, and I was finally sick of waiting, so I got a refund and found them on Amazon Prime instead. Highly disappointed. Would definitely recommend never to order from them, unless you want to still be waiting on it to come in OVER...

This dragon's keep is the better one in the area that I've been to. They have things in stock and the staff are always helpful.

Two anecdotal stories:

I came in to get a d&d special edition rule book that had just come out, and they had just sold out. The man at the counter apologized and I left the store disappointed, but as I was about to pull away he comes out and motions for me to come back in. He sold me his personal copy of the book he had saved for himself and said that the lehi store had an extra he could have and that he would just go grab that one for himself.

Another time another d&d special edition book, the company had to delay their book, and I came in hoping to get it or find out information (because the Provo dragon's keep was useless), they had just gotten them, but they hadn't received them into the system yet, so they let me claim one and pick it up the next day. Not like a major thing, but just a good experience.
