I needed help with a product I previously bought so I came into the Orland Park location today and I was really disappointed with my experience. I also was looking forward to purchasing other items, however that excitement quickly disappeared after my encounter with the sale associate. I had an issue with a bracelet not staying closed all the way, not sure if it was bent from me wearing it all the time or needed to be cleaned, but I brought it in none the less so I wouldn't break it trying to fix it myself. All I had said to the associate was that it wasn't staying closed and that it had fallen off when I was out last weekend. The "associate that was helping" me took my bracelet to the back and rudely told me 10 minutes later they weren't going to do anything about it- which was fine; not a big deal (it was $100 I got my use out of it)- but the way she treated me after that was undeserved and made me very uncomfortable. I work in customer service and there is a nice way to talk to customers even difficult ones and by no means was I being difficult nor was this a difficult situation and they were not busy; she almost talked down to me like I was stupid? Like I really was inconveniencing her by being there. And then 2 seconds after telling me they won't replace it she began taking care of a new client in the middle of the transaction. That left a terrible impression on me. She couldn't adequately communicate with me about anything (why the bracelet wasn't closing all the way) what the options where and didn't bother to ask if she could help in any other way before going to a different customer (mind you I also came in to purchase items too). She just walked off and started helping someone else. I left after that I was so uncomfortable to be treated that way. I hope the older woman with the glasses finds a different career or goes behind a desk because working with the public directly is not for her. Every other time over the last 10 years that i've come into pandora it's always a great and easy experience, she definitely ruined the way I look at this company now and how I will think before purchasing from here again. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t let the public know about my experience on April 3, 2021 with store associate Monte and alleged manager Daniella. Long/short I came in to exchange a defective bracelet and wanted a receipt to memorialize the transaction. Monte stated I would have to pay $3.73 for a receipt (no purchase was made). I asked him why and if he would pay for a receipt. I told him I wasn’t paying for a receipt and he turned from me and mumbled something and walked away. I said “pardon me?” And no response. I walked to Sephora and after I finished my purchase I see 5 police officers and a dog with Monte and another black woman (didn’t catch her name) from Pandora. He pointed at me and said “there she is”. The police proceeded to question me about the incident. I explained and we went back to Pandora and I received a store gift card in the amount of $391. I don’t appreciate this type you of treatment, it was defamation of character and an extremely traumatic experience, especially during the current climate with police. Thankfully Officer Whalen was very understanding and professional. And yes, you did read that right. Monte called the police on a young black woman because I didn’t pay for a receipt that I didn’t take. He would have had to collect the $3.73 from me to even print the receipt.    Read moreI had the most awful experiences made a purchase on May 8th for a Mothers Day gift for my mom. Knowing it will be delivered late. I call the store a week later several times inquiry a tracking number no response. Call customers and left a complaint . Went to the store 2nd week and ask for the manager she already left for the day and no one was able to answer any questions or give me any informations so I left my information. Call customers several again made another complaint . During this whole time the manger from the store (Jessica) or (Jen) never responded back to me or customers service. As of June 5 made another trip back to the store and requested my money back. I was done didn't want to hear it. During this whole time staff went to back looking for my items came back out issue my refund... At this point it was about the principal of not replying to my phone call, email or concerns when i spent my money...
