Slick City Action Park — Attraction in Orland Township

We just had my son’s birthday party there today. We paid for the deluxe party and we had the most horrible experience there from beginning to end. When we arrived there was a long line upstairs to check into the party, when they finally checked us in they told us our table number, when we get to our table it had t even been cleaned yet from the previous party, we had no host taking care of us, the events manager came to me and said she would be our host and did apologize for everything, I was told we would get our Icee later on, our party was almost over and we had still not gotten our icees or our party favors, I went upstairs and spoke to another manager which told me he would take care of it. He came and brought me empty icee cups and said we can have them filled before we leave, when we went to get our icees filled at the food court we were informed it was closed, I spoke to a manager named chayanne he had terrible customer service and attitude and told me there was nothing they could do since the machines were already shut off. I asked to speak to a higher up manager because I had paid for the deluxe party and the icees were included in my package, she then told an employee to fill up our icees. I didn’t get my party favors and they did give us free passes and a discount but that does not make up for the terrible experience and terrible customer service from the managers chayanne and the other event manager which I did not get her name. I paid for the deluxe for my son to have a good birthday party and I felt stressed out and dissatisfied the entire time!Do not waste your hard earned money...

We were looking to celebrate our daughter’s 9th birthday. My wife and I were very unsure of how things would be- being that the facility just opened up, very busy, and the availability that populated online. At the time we were planning to go it gets very busy lines are lengthy which is expected as it is a popular attraction and brand new.

We met a door hostess who was very friendly and addressed our concerns to the best of his ability. He offered to get someone else who could confirm the questions and concerns we had. We spoke with a manager by the name of Rich who was also very friendly and efficient and explained everything to us and reassured us that everything would work out.

He then introduced us to the Event Manager by the name of Kiyla. She was super friendly, answered all of our questions and really made our experience one for the books. She took her time to thoroughly explain and details and gave us that reassurance that we were so desperately seeking. We were very pleased at how she handled everything so efficiently and professionally and made a way out of no way. We left knowing that our daughter’s birthday experience would be the best one ever. My family and I really appreciate the entire staff especially Kiyla who really made our experience amazing. If we could give Kiyla a thousand stars we would. Anyone should be happy and appreciative to have someone like her on their team. Rich was amazing as well! Kiyla was just really breath taking. We will be back to support them and continue to spread our great experience....

Took my daughter here for her birthday and I must say it was one of the worst experience I’ve had at an amusement park. The lines were out the door and it took over an hour to get to the front, even though we had pre-purchased tickets for a certain time which pushed everything back. They stop selling food at 5 PM saying that they were behind and they will not be serving food for at least an hour mind you they still wasn’t serving food by the time we left, which was at around 7:30. The tables were filthy. No one was cleaning food was all over the floor towels was all over the floor. No one had anywhere to sit my sister who was pregnant had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to come clean the table so that we can sit down, but they only clean the table. It was stuff all over the floor underneath our table. They turned the TV screens off and said they were only serving drinks and that line was still over an hour. There are no vending machines so you have no other option but to wait because it was my daughter birthday I had other kids there as well and I could not even order food to feed them because there was no longer serving food. The slides was great, but that was about all it felt like there wasn’t any heat it was freezing in the facility. I think I will be checking out a different location, but this one in Orland is not it highly disappointed in the service. There was not enough staff to accommodate...
