HUGE shoutout Daniel and Jason (I believe he is now at a different location) for all the help over the weeks we interacted with IDC. They were extremely knowledgeable of all their designers and tailored suggestions based on feedback of my now fiancé. We were expecting pushy carsalesman-like tactics, however we experienced only honesty and genuine suggestions (no forced upsale-ing here!). We ended up requesting a custom design for the engagement ring, which took a few iterations with the designer. When we weren’t satisfied with the renders, they took our feedback and not only worked with the designer to make it right, but explained the technicalities of what we wanted to make sure our expectations met what was going to be delivered. We were happy to complete the set of rings by also doing a custom wedding band for her and a standard wedding band for me. I was even able to send a friend to pick up the rings so that I could make a surprise proposal with my fiancé knowing I had the rings which was a huge plus!

The knowledge they shared about diamonds made us feel that we were taken care of and weren’t going to be misled about quality or how it will look - as soon as we put a deposit down, the exact stone was saved for us so we knew exactly what we were getting.

Their warrantee and guarantee can’t be beat (we tried and failed to find better offers elsewhere in central Florida). Communication was professional and responsive. We feel the prices were very reasonable for what we requested and the diamond is worth every penny. Our minds are at ease given their trade-in policy should we change our minds about our design (doubt it, my fiancé can’t stop staring...

Had a great experience at International Diamond Center Millenia FL this last weekend with the staff (some old friends and a couple new ones)!

We came in to look for an item a few weeks ago and met one of the jewelers, Tod Townsend with whom we immediately ‘clicked’.

We’re long standing customers for the last decade+, and this last weekend just solidifies that relationship for us. Tod was persistent in tracking down a piece that we’d seen previously, sourced it, and invited us back to take another look. He was very knowledgeable about the designer and our options for purchasing, sizing, etc. He made the whole experience pleasant (and relatively painless lol).

The service we received from Tod, Lillian, and Julie was even better (if possible) than we’ve had in the past; and that is exactly why we return to to them when a special occasion calls for jewelry (or just repairs on an old item).

The only warning I’ll provide to the husbands & fiancés out there - be careful leaving your wife alone with Lillian and Julie. I was working out the details of our purchase with Tod and heard a lot of ooh’s and ah’s coming from the three of them. Not to go into too much detail but we left the store with an additional (early birthday) present for my wife lol.

If any of the IDC leadership is reading this I’ll recommend you hang onto this crew Tod, Lillian, Julie, and Jack) and keep going with your great customer service. It keeps us coming back to IDC exclusively if at all possible. Thank you Tod, Lillian,...

I purchased a loose diamond plus a white gold halo band as an engagement ring. The salesperson told me the band was 18 carat gold and that I would receive a 15% military discount. At the time of picking up the ring with the diamond mounted, the store was closing, so I didn't check the paperwork. I was also headed to the airport to catch a flight out of the country.

About a month later, I gave the ring to my fiancee at our engagement party. Unfortunately, the engagement ended some two months later, and she returned the ring to me.

I went to an IDC store and asked if they had a buyback or consignment program, which they said they did. The following day I visited the store where the IDC "buyer" was working. After waiting more than 1 1/2 hours, the buyer informed me they would give me what amounted to about 35% of my original purchase price -- on consignment -- independent of what the future sales price might be. Also, I found out the band was NOT 18 carat gold, and they had only given me the military discount on the [overpriced] band, not on the diamond.

So, that was the last time I'll do business with them. Other jewelers I've been to have comparable quality and pricing (or better), and don't mislead their clients about what is being sold or the price.

By the way, I sold the ring quickly on a social media platform for significantly more than the paltry price IDC offered me.
