Marshalls — Local services in Orlando

I wasn’t going to leave a review as I normally don’t have any issues with this store. However, from the other reviews, it seems like customer service is an issue that needs to be addressed and more of us may need to speak up. I experienced some rude employees when trying get the price of an item that I already purchased. The item didn’t have a price tag so they made up the price by using a different brand that was a larger size. I tried to explain to them the price that I got it for, and they completely ignored me and the lady creating the tag slapped in the price without acknowledging me at all. I purchased it anyway, but it was so rude, dismissive it left a bad taste in my mouth. I had to go back and return the item. It was embarrassing and uncomfortable. When I asked to speak to the manager he didn’t care to address the issue and just processed the return. I don’t know if this is the new culture, but it’s unfortunate because I usually shop here. I empathize with the employees because they’re having to deal with a range of customers (and complaints) all day. However that doesn’t excuse the treatment I received, and the inability to deal with these issues properly. But I’ll take any excuse to keep a little money...

I stopped by this location and could not find what I was looking for but I did see a candle on the seasonal aisle and decided to purchase. Maggie the cashier, who apparently doubles as asset protection, decided that my $6 candle was really not worth $6. She turned a very simple transaction into a Scooby doo mystery to verify if the price of a candle was really the price. Her response was “sometimes stickers get messed up” because she knew she was wrong. Her bias outweighed her judgement. If this is how you train your cashiers, I’m highly disappointed because in all my years, I’ve never heard of cashiers verify that the price reduction for seasonal items need to be verified. Also, let Maggie know that the same candle is on sale at Waterford lakes. I know because I purchased it a day prior, without the cashier making the transaction longer because they didn’t believe the price of the candle had a sticker that...

I have only one or two things to say about this store ,its was very large ,over stocked with items great bargens, nicley priced...TJMaxx also is a sister store i really enjoy shopping here..i done all my xmas shopping to night at this one store ... fabulous place to shop I like Marshalls much better than TJ cuz I could find more sizes for myself and for my family and there's just more here maybe cuz it's a bigger store I'm not knocking down TJ Maxx cuz I love for bags but Marshalls to me is got almost everything if you going to shop Walmart you going to get Walmart and you're going to get not so nice quality of items if you want good stuff at a beautiful price and exquisite taste and designers Marshalls and TJMaxx is number one I mean there's Dillard's an Macys also but they are so expensive in price these prices here at this store are half the price you would buy a Dillard's or Macy's so...
