I just left this Staples and the manager named Shirley was working in the cash register as a cashier before closing and I did not know they close at 8 pm. She was very rude practically kicking me out of the store. I saw in the chip reader where it said something like a 10 percent off if you sign up for their rewards program, so I asked her about it, and she didn't even try to explain to me how the rewards program for them worked. She just told me to look at and read the pamphlet she gave me. She said that would give me more information. Like that obviously is trying to tell someone you don't want to explain it to them. You're basically just telling me to read a pamphlet because you don't want to explain it to me and while she was walking me out of the store since they were closed when i was there, and I was only there 5 minutes after closing, I wasn't there for a long time after closing, and when was walking me out of the store,she didn't even said goodbye to me or anything . She just opened the door for me and basically kicked me out of the store. How rude. Wow. I am SOO unimpressed with this staples and their poor management and customer service skills. I read all reviews here just to see was I the only one that felt this way and clearly this is the normal flow of business here. No employee volunteered to help and never gave off any welcoming energy. This was my first and last time coming here. Go to OFFICE DEPOT up the street this place is not where you want to spend your money!!!!! I regret spending money here.
UPDATE!!!!! Steven was the best hands down. I actually had to return to this location because there were errors in my documents. And to my surprise there was a nice young man my the name of Steven (ask for Steven) he changed the game of customer service he went over and beyond as a customer service representative. He corrected the errors and even gave tips as to how make marketing materials look clean and sleek. I didnât have to wait at all. Very pleasant attitude, very knowledgeable and that makes me say Steve should be the face everyone meets at the door. Great job Steven...
   Read moreBought an office chair from the location in Lake Mary, FL. Got home in Orlando, opened the box and pulled out the back to start assembling. It has a rip in the leather for the back. The location that is closer to me refuses to swap it because all they have is the floor model. This company expects me to drive more than an hour round trip plus pay tolls to go back to the store I purchased at to swap it. I should not have to spend more money and time to fix something that is not my fault. So instead of just swapping it for the floor model at the store close to me and retaining a customer plus keeping the money for the purchase they would rather give the money back and lose a customer for life. I worked in retail for many years and this is insane. I guess staples is such a big pimpin company that they donât mind losing money and customers. After multiple calls and attempts I gave up.
