The MANAGEMENTS BEHAVIOR displayed on various reviews is REFLECTIVE of more than UNPROFESSIONALISM, but of a business who is CLUELESS re customer service which is the backbone of any business At the rate you are going on attacking customers, this business will fold it’s just a matter of time it will not be because of MEH FOOD, dirty digs, but your DIRTY ATTITUDE will get your doors closed. 🚩 🚩 A GOOD manager knows how to HANDLE a customer’s poor experience or complaint WITHOUT having a MELTDOWN, & DOESN’T INSULT a CUSTOMER for their business not meeting expectations, LOOKS for ways to IMPROVE, LISTENS to customers, APOLOGIZES when customers experience is subpar, THANKS customers for their feedback (*/-) & the really DECENT ONES even offer a chance for the unsatisfied customers to come back to give them a CHANCE of a better experience. ‼️What a GOOD manager NEVER does is 🚩INSULT a customer 🚩🚩ATTACK & ARGUE with a customer 🚩🚩🚩tell a customer they’re WRONG 🚩🚩🚩🚩tell a customer NOT to come BACK after only posting an honest review based on experience). 🚨‼️🚩 After experiencing this INAPPROPRIATE, UNPROFESSIONAL response by the MANAGER to my honest review including details of food quality, indoor and outdoor details, 1️⃣ ⭐️ is well-deserved for this manager’s DISGRACEFUL ATTITUDE & BEHAVIOR. 🐄 Beefy King has🚨 bigger problems than what I put in my original review with 3 ⭐️. I’ve included it below just in case: Original review:” I do not understand why this place is so highly rated. I will definitely not be back. The people were pretty nice in the drive-through, but the food was just subpar and it looks dirty, dingy and worn down. I think the whole place can use a nice scrubbing and new paint And overall just felt dirty. This place is a legend to the locals, but I just truly cannot understand why. I was kinda disappointed Beefy King didn't live up to its hype as I made this a part of my Orlando Food Bucket List before I move away after living here a couple decades. I wish they had advertised there wasn't any dine-in after 3PM because that's when I arrived there. Maybe my experience was just Meh cuz of the takeout experience instead of dine-in experience. Don't do takeout as the coleslaw sauces from my chicken sandwich leaked on the bottom of the bag on to my car seat (unless you have something to put in-between the car and the food bag).

I got the regular sized Combo #1, regular sized combo #6 with kraut and onions, junior BBQ pork, chicken sandwich (specialty sandwich), large Beefy Spuds with jack sauce, onion rings, and the seasonal eggnog milkshake for $46.43.

The BBQ pork sandwich was nostalgic in that it reminded me of elementary school lunches, but I was sorta hoping for better.

Both beef combo sandwiches were surprisingly my least favorite considering that's what Beefy King is known for with their beef, but I suppose the takeout had made everything really soggy by the time I arrived home half hour later.

The jack sauce was a good zesty zing. The large beefy spuds are crispy tator tots. These and the onion rings were both normal... I can't really tell what the difference would be between getting these and elsewhere. But I suppose there's simplistic charm in these. They were crispy and not oily like lots of places would make them. So that's a plus in my books.

The chicken sandwich is a good choice!

So overall, I liked the eggnog milkshake (smooth taste and consistency), beefy spuds, onion rings, jack sauce, and chicken sandwich the best.

Probably would not come back here though. But a good spot to eat a casual lunch on affordable prices if you're already nearby in the area. Just...

Beefy King is an Orlando institution and everyone should try it at least once. This was my second time trying it. We chose to dine in and I got the create your own sandwich with roast beef, turkey, and cheese. I also got a side of beefy spuds (AKA tater tots). The place can get pretty packed, especially on weekends, but fortunately this time the line was short and we found seating easily.

There are things I really like about Beefy King. I like the nostalgic vibe, the team members there are super nice and helpful, the food comes out hot and fresh, and it’s a bright and clean space. I also like the fact that it’s been around for so long and some of the families I see dining there probably came as children and are now there with their own kids. That’s pretty cool. The food to me though is more average. The sandwiches are generously filled, but the meat is less flavorful and kind of on the dry side in my opinion. They do have a few sauces you can use which help, but the food just doesn’t blow me away. It’s definitely not bad, but not fantastic. It’s not the first place that would pop into my mind to head to for lunch, but I’d still head back from time to time to support a long standing local business that seems to have a passion for...
