They're only getting 2 stars bc the suit was at least nice, but everything else was garbage. We were very patient and never said anything rude or spoke with a harsh tone. The guy taking our measurements was off and made the shirt much larger than it needed to be. Responded with attitude to the 2 questions we asked about the rental process.
Then no one told us what day the rentals were due back, they just said "as soon as possible". I returned it 2 days later bc the next was 97 degrees and I have no AC and live far from any location. Everyone in Florida knows that it's like with this humidity it feels like 104. But no I had to pay 20 dollars. Even after explaining, they're like "it says on the receipt the due date" (not on the receipt given at time of payment, but the receipt placed inside the garment bag at moment of pickup). Yes, but no one looks there when they ask a living person who is employed to give assistance and pertinent information to customers and they're told "as soon as possible" instead of a specific date.
This is what makes it look like it's a scheme to get more money when you're asked for the information and given a vague answer and then charged for that lack of knowledge.
You're a garage company. The employee who charged me was nice enough but still was like "but there's a 20 dollar charge still". Even after I explained. Probably bc he'll get chewed out for not collecting even though I had a more than reasonable explanation. This company sucks.
And no I'm not going to respond to your email that you've put on every response to a negative review. You're putting the onus on the customer to respond in a different manner than they already have so you can pass the buck and not feel responsible to change saying "we asked them to tell us how they feel but they didn't". It was very clear early on that who ever put the outfits together never looked at the sizes. Most had pants too short, the shirt provided for me would not even button. And when I went to get dressed for the event, I found that the hap hazard mend job they did on the jacket sleeve length had unraveled. As had the pant hem job. Also the tightening clasp on the pants would not stay closed which I pointed out to them in the store. So for the evening, my left sleeve kept coming loose down onto my hand. The Right pant leg hem would continually come loose and cover my shoe, and my pants kept loosening up making me exit the Father daughter dance prematurely for fear my pants would hit the ground, and Oh when I put the replacement shirt on, it was very clear that one sleeve was longer than the other. They insisted that one of my arms was longer than the other. Funny I never noticed that in 63 years of life, but miraculously when they brought out another shirt, the sleeve length was fine. The employee made it a point to tell me he measured the sleeves in the back room and it was my arms Not their shirt. Apparently they keep shirts on hand with one arm longer than the other for people like me that are abnormally built with one arm longer as the 3rd shirt was correct and the sleeves were even. I went to get fitted for a rental tux for my friend’s wedding and paid $240 in full at the fitting. The fitting went great besides the fitting part. I was in and out within 15 mins and the guy was nice but the problem was, once I got my tux-nothing fit right. The pants were too long and very baggy. The shirt was baggy and sleeves were too short. They gave me another shirt that fit my body better, but sleeves were too long and there was a stain on the shoulder of the shirt, luckily I noticed to switch it out. The jacket was a tad baggy and sleeves were too short and the guys working were less than helpful. They kind of gave me attitude because I wanted my suit to fit right because I paid $240 for a rental that didn’t fit. They said “not much we can do at this point, pretty much gotta take what you got”. They were not accommodating at all and I believe it’s because I already paid in full so I was stuck. They tried to make me keep the shirt that didn’t fit until after the wedding because of “policy”. I have never left a Google review in my life until now because of how ripped off I feel. I honestly feel like this place is a scam and you can BUY a much nicer fitting suit or tux for the same or less from somewhere else.Trust me, I bought a much nicer, better fitting suit at Macys and didn’t have it tailored or anything.
