I truly don't understand why this place exists. I made an appointment online for my son to get a quick strep test to see if he could go to work or not. Appoint was for 3 pm. We got there at 2:45 pm. The appointment online was confirmed. There were no instructions at the kiosk. The television that is supposed to show wait times/patients was off. There was only one person working there. When we arrived I tried to check if we needed to check in at the kiosk, but when I entered my son's details, it went through the same prompts as online as if he was newly checking in and only gave appointment times for 5 pm and later. We already had an appointment (or so I thought, so we sat and patiently waited). A woman and her son waiting before us got called and then an hour went by. An older woman showed up 5 minutes before the woman and her son left, and when the tech came out, she called the woman! I inquired about our wait time and appointment, to which she asked if I checked in at the kiosk. I explained the situation and basically was told we were out of luck and would have to further wait to either see if her 4 pm appointment showed up or until 5 pm. If making an appointment online has no value, then the system should not allow it and they should only do walk-in appointments. That or fix the disconnect between the systems. Or maybe provide some actual customer service and have the tech not just call names but make announcements in between patients that everyone HAS to check in at the kiosk - put up a sign - literally anything! When I asked the tech how we were supposed to know being that none of their items were working properly, she had no answer. It was just that we were out of luck and would have to wait further to be seen. What a joke! This is not a place you want to sit and wait at for an hour, let a lone two. It's small, right next to a very busy prescription pick-up line, and dirty. Not to mention, as I found out, the clinic tech is not a doctor and according to other friends and family I've spoken to now, is not a very good one as my mom's poison ivy was misdiagnosed and she suffered for weeks after visiting, until she went to her actual doctor. It's not convenient and it's not professional. I...
Read moreI realized late that I was low on my daughters formula while visiting with my sister. I looked at all nearby Walgreens’, and this location was the only location that had it in stock and was open 24 hours. PERFECT! I could swing by on my way home. I placed an order for pickup after specifically calling the store to ensure they did curbside pickup regardless of what of day it was, as I was unsure of what time I’d actually get to the store. I was told that yes, I could place the order for curbside, but that it might just take longer due to only one individual working the orders. No problem. Order placed and about 10 minutes later was ready. I arrived around 11:45pm. When I opened the email, it told me that I had to go into the store to the photo counter, a complete contradiction to what I was told when I called the store. I explained that I had my two kids in the car with me, and they had fallen asleep on the ride. The individual who does the online orders ran my order out to me, and explained that they no longer come outside after 9pm. I felt awful, but am so thankful that they made an exception for me (especially when I did not plan to be without formula it just happened to be the case). I thanked him, and he told me that not all store associates know that they stop running curbside at a certain time which is why I received the wrong information. I thanked this person, whose name I did not get unfortunately. Even though I’m upset that I did not receive the right information causing them to go against their policy, I am entirely grateful that they were able to run my order out to me so I didn’t have to wake up my sleeping babies to run inside the store to grab the order. And despite everything, the customer service I received both in person and on the phone were exceptional! Thank you to these employees for continuing to provide such amazing service (especially to the exhausted moms who often make mistakes of...
Read moreNot at all impressed with the pharmacy. I called and got to what I thought was the pharmacy, gave them the whole situation only to be told I needed to speak with the pharmacy...that's what I asked for & was told by the person on the phone. I get to the pharmacy only to have to go thru the whole "story" again. I requested my meds, told the Dr would have to be faxed since no refill on the one (i understood this, no problem). The other one was fine & I was told I could pick up in 20 min. We get there I pay for the med then look at it before I drive away. It was the wrong med. It wasn't even one we spoke about. I was told the wrong one was entered. I again asked for the one we needed. After a bit she said, oh well don't have any of those in stock. What the heck! I just WASTED all this time AND I still don't have the meds I need! Each of these situations in themselves are not terrible (except giving me the wrong meds), but the whole series of events is...
