I sent my mother to home hardware with a TV in her backseat that I was going to wall mount for my handicap niece. My mother recently had brain surgery and needs a hip replacement so I figured sending her to a small hometown business like this they would gladly come out to the car and assist her in finding the correct bolt size for the back of the tv. This was not a very large television just very difficult for my mother to carry with all her health problems. After I got off work and met her at her house and carried up the TV she was complaining of hurting and when I asked her why she told me this story. The reason I sent her to this business was for excellent service that you cannot get at a bigger store. That is exactly what she didn't get. I will never return to the store or purchase anything from it again. I'll save my money and get the same service (or possibly better) at Menards or Walmart next time. Its a sad day for small...

This store is a prime example of price gouging. Almost everything in this store is marked up to an unreasonable level. Was looking at a Milwaukee hole saw kit, these people were asking $130, found the exact same kit at Farm and Fleet for $80.

Most of the staff is very rude, uninformed and act like it is inconvenience to do their job when asked for help. I have heard the staff arguing amongst themselves about whose job is what right in front of custpmers on several occasions.

I can't wait for the day a Menards, Home Depot or Lowes comes to town and closes this place. But that won't happen soon because the fruity mayor is busy planting flowers and painting murals instead of boosting the...

I have mixed feelings about Home Hardware. They have a really good selection of tools & supplies, they even have good sales from time to time. If you need help though, you have a 50/50 chance of getting it. It seems like the ones who can help don't want to & the ones who can't just make their best guess. I shop here all the time but there are a couple of employees I try to steer clear of. Usually the main woman I try to avoid follows me around like I'm going to steal something so it's not easy to stay away from her. All said, I like this store. Mostly. If you need something specific, I would just recommend that you know ahead of time what you need...
