I went to the oak park mall location and was treated very rudely by someone named Kynzy. I was trying to exchange shoes that I bought online for a smaller size and a dress I needed a larger size. At first she said she would help me look in the store to see if they carried them. I told her I had already looked and didn't see it. She just stood there and shrugged. My baby had started screaming at this point. I asked her if she could look up in the computer if they had them at all in stock on the front floor or in the back. She said she couldn't do that. Fine. So I asked her to order it to the store and I'll pick it up. She said they couldn't do that either and pushed my items back across the counter toward me. She told me the only thing I could do was return the shoes and repurchase them online for 2x more than I paid since they were no longer on sale. I looked it up online and showed her the cost was way more. She just replied, "yes that's the price". I ended up exchanging them for a pair that was just ok and just took the dress home. Now I'm thinking I'll return everything. Forget it. Why should I pay for products that I'm just settling for?
Very disappointed with this "customer service". This lady offered to help me look at the beginning of our conversation but by the end of it she hadn't moved from her register area. She completely shut me down and was very cold in attitude. Apparently Children's Place will let you buy things online, but if it's the wrong size you're completely screwed. I'm not sure if it was the cashier or the company's fault, but something here needs to change. More customer service training or a change in customer policy. Also, where was the manager? She didn't notice I was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās extremely sad how this place has many bad reviews. I made an online order when I went to pick it up one of the cashiers were extremely nice and polite. The box was big and heavy .One of cashier provided a few bags but the Cashier Ashley who claimed to be the āmanagerā gave her a dirty look. When I tried to return the item that didnāt fit my child Ashley refused to returned my items and refund the money back in their card. That I needed a physical card, but seasons before they had no problem refunding everything back to their credit card. Then, I requested for a plastic bag Ashley stated she ācanāt give me bags because they have no bagsā. She had this stinky and rude attitude like she hated her job! She had no manager professionalism. I was amazed how dirty the store and fitting room were. I saw clothes on the floor everywhere customers and kids walking on it. My 6 years old child said āthis place is very dirty momā. What amazes me is the store had a manager who definitely didnāt have the critical thinking skills nor people skills, had a rude and careless attitude toward the customers and the people who...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs soon as you walk in the racks are so close you can even walk through with a stroller. While I will admit, I have a double stroller so it is large, I can promise you a wheelchair would NEVER fit. As Iām trying to get thought the maze to the cash register to do a return I legit had to take my two kids out of the stroller to start the return process. Walking in, there wasnāt a single associate in the store. One who just clocked out ended up walking back in to help me, but then she noticed someone on the clock walk back out. So she left. I thought that was kind because I know when I get off work I never want to go back in, lol. I will say the return process was easy and they were nice (donāt forget your card that you paid with when doing the return), but the mess of the store and the challenge that it was to get the stroller in the store was enough not to make go back. Like if you have video go back and watch it from today, because I legit had to move racks to get 3 feet inside and then there was nowhere else...
