I have to say - I'm sorry to rate this 1 store so low. But. This is all they deserve..Each of the last 3 weeks we have come here after school to get things for projects due. Each week we have encountered the same thing - Incompetence -no cashiers, no Mgrs to open a 2nd register..or No cash in the drawer when you finally get your turn. In line to pay and now after waiting 10 12 minutes each time with only 1 cashier - she has no money for change..this past Tuesday 1 example. 405pm. Walked in 9 people in line 1 cashier. Several employees wandering - 4 times the cashier called for help up front. No one came. Got what we needed. Went to the front hoping the lines went down. Now 14 people in line 1 cashier. She was still calling for help..Finally 2nd register opened. Except the cashier had No idea of sales or coupons for the lady in the front of line...I said to my kids. Michael's 1.5 miles away. Next school project they get our business . This makes 3 weeks in a row we come here and Incompetence at the front lines. If they aren't trained. Then get them trained..Walmart 1/2 mile away. Michael's 1.5 miles away...we waited 17 minutes in line for 3 items. Behind 2 customers with 5 or less items. Because no money in cash drawer and no idea how to ring up a coupon...nice company BUT awful customer service at this store...Whole store needs re training on money customers and sales...and Front end Management rrsponsinilities.. When people come into a store. They want to spend their money in it. Not retire in line with no help from...
Read moreIf there was a zero star that is exactly what I would give them. I have never, ever, ever in my life been racially profiled but it definitely happened to me in Hobby Lobby. The day that I visited the store there was a large Hispanic population of shoppers. There were two lines opened. I noticed the lines moving quickly, and there was not a long wait. I did not see this happen to anyone else and I am very observant. When it became my turn, the cash register attendant asked for my driver's license, and TWO forms of ID. She called the manager. They pulled out a list as long as a yardstick of names and they compared my personal information to the names on the list looking to see if my name was on there. When I asked them why was this being done, I was given a sarcastic smile and told all new customers have to be screened like this.....but no one before me had this done to them. There was a customer behind me who observed how I was bring treated, and even she became very annoyed. I was stunned, hurt, very insulted, and very angry and I will never ever spend my time or money in Hobby Lobby on Red Bug Lake Road in Winter Springs ever ever again! If it was the only place that sold the item that I would need I would rather do without it. I'd like to also state it was my first visit to the store. I now network, and share this experience with ANYONE that mentions possibly visiting this store and that specific location. Shame on you and thumbs down...
Read moreStore is like any other Hobby Lobby but Let's talk these employees!!! I was buying some items where there was a stack of boxes in front of the items and TWO employees on the same lane and I had to move the large boxes myself.WHAT? I asked about a price of an item that was priced $41.99 when in fact it was $7.99! The employee laughed saying that is the reason they didn't sell...not changing the price or mentioning the boxes had been moved BY ME. When asked where similar items were that I saw online were he told me a totally incorrect area. Yet another employee when asked where something was said "I don't THINK we have that". No checking with someone or looking. (yes I looked myself first). Another employee when asked stated if they had it AT ALL it would be across the store to the opposite cornor "somewhere'. Several employee today but stocking shelves was the important thing NOT the people BUYING the merch. Bottom line...these folks don't like customers and as far as being CHRISTIAN???? Well, they sure don't walk the walk!! The store on Colonial's emplyees are vastly different and I always find employees mimic the manager's actions thus it is no use...
