I saw Beth she was recommended to me. First off she had me wait 40 minutes past my appt time. Then she asking if she knew me and if I was referred to her which I was she says she doesn't really like taking new customers now I'm already feeling discouraged but the trim comes out ok now to blow dry my hair. I have thick wavy hair and she didn't know what she was doing she had my hair frizzy and puffy and not fully dry. She thought she could half ass my hair and use a flat iron to smooth it down I told her I don't ever use a flat iron she responded with "if you want you hair straighter than this I need to use a flat iron" no i shouldnt do something i don't like just because you are unaware I'm how to do my hair I mean offer a compromise like putting me under the dryer. I went to Emily a week or two ago, to get my hair cut and I was very pleased with my service! Glo was the first hair salon I have gone too since moving to Orlando in 2020 and I was nervous about finding somewhere I would be happy with. After reading reviews online I decided to book an appointment at Glo. My stylist ended up being Emily and she was so great! She listened to all my worries, and helped me figure out what I would like! We took off all the dead ends/length, added long layers and even curtain bangs! I was nervous about bangs in general since it was so long since I've had them, so we started with a longer length and shortened them to what we thought would look great and I couldn't be happier! Emily completely transformed my hair and I can't wait to go back and have her color it in the future!...

GREAT SERVICE BUT NOT ACTING APPROPRIATELY DURING COVID-19 - Okay so the employees here are extremely talented at what they do. I absolutely love how my hair turns out every time I come here. HOWEVER, I do not think I will be returning for a while due to their lack of health precautions during Covid-19. Some employees were not wearing masks and many of those who were wearing masks, were wearing them incorrectly (nose out/around chin/etc.). I also heard many of the employees talking about going out and partying/going out to bars - So there is clearly very little social distancing going on. All in all, I love my hair, but I did NOT feel safe. Thank god I am young and healthy. I do NOT recommend going to GLO if you (or someone you life with) are of old age or if you have a compromised...
