I don’t say this lightly but this was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had with ANY business. Submitted an online appointment to fix a Galaxy J7 screen and received an e-mail a few hours later that the part would need to be ordered. The email said to reply and state whether I wished to continue with the repair as it would be 2-3 business days; I replied yes, but also asked to confirm if it would be done by Thursday (4 business days later). I did not get an answer. I went into the store the next day to ask about it and was told it should be done by then. On Wednesday I called to check and see if the part was in and I was told no. As I was going out of town, I noted I would come in after I got back in town.
The next week upon my return I called again. Still no part. I asked why and they said they didn’t know, but I was told they would overnight it. This was a Friday, so it should have been in Saturday. On Saturday, I hadn’t received a call, so I called back and was told it still hadn’t come in and tracking showed it would be in Monday. Now I’m started to get really frustrated as it’s been over 2 weeks.
Monday, today, comes along and I don’t receive a call. I call them around 3 and am told it’s not in and to call back later. I called less than an hour before they closed and was again told it wasn’t in, and they had no idea why.
At no point in this process was I, the customer, ever notified. The irony of the recording I heard each of the 5 times I called and was placed on hold wasn’t lost on me: the voice says “we keep you updated every step of the way.” Clearly, this is a lie. It took 5 calls and a visit from me to get no information, and I still have a broken phone.
Take your electronics, and your money, to somewhere that cares about customer service.
EDITED TO ADD: if you want to see how truly incompetent this company is, look at their response to me below. They can’t even get the location correct. They don’t care...

I brought my wife's laptop into the store in July to fix the screen (it was showing white lines, with no visible cracks) I ask for them to assess the damage let me know the repair costs and I would proceed from there, after about a week and a half I get a call saying they can't fix the screen that its a problem with the motherboard and that they would have to send it off to a lab to get a new chip soldered to the board. I was then told over the phone that the cost to repair would be cheaper than a new screen ($267.00), the chip on the board was only $150 all together, I went on to ask if it needed a new screen still and they said they would test it out when they got the new chip installed. 2 weeks go by without a word and I call up the shop to check the status and they said they had it back from the lab and would have it ready by the afternoon, on my second visit I get informed that the laptop is ready to go but that it was damaged in transit back from the lab that broke the original screen so they put a new one on the laptop that did not match the OEM one I brought it in with (missing the led apple logo on the back of the MacBook Air) so I ask for a replacement and they ultimately make that part of the story right by me, what ultimately makes this place 2 star is in their notes they didn't record that I didn't need a screen replacement and that I had board work done, they show and I quote: "We show in the system that it was sent out, and came back but I can't see what it was sent out for" so I had to pay for the screen and not the board work which would have been cheaper on my part but they also didn't record that I wanted the device cleaned as well and missed out on the business there. Management if your reading take better notes when your doing your device intake paperwork. I like ubreakifix because it's usually an easy experience at other locations but at this store things could...
Read moreStarted off well at first, seemed friendly enough and I was lucky to get "the last available" screen for my phone that they had in stock. Repairs were estimated at 2 hours, and since I had dropped it off late I figured I would wait until the next day. After almost a full day I called them, the phone just keeps ringing and ringing. Nobody ever answered. After arriving at the store I was given some story about how my phone, which previously had no issues at all aside from the cracked screen, had a "motherboard problem/issue" the "technician" could not further elaborate on exactly what this meant, apart from saying "it doesn't connect." He claimed he tried "a couple of different screens," (they only had one previously, and I was told they were closed because of a water leak all day) but every time they connected it to a new screen, this "motherboard issue" would prevent them from completing the repair. I was then told that my $29 screen repair would turn into a $249 replacement. I decided to call asurion, with little help, I decided to try the uBreakiFix on University Blvd in Winter Park. After roughly 2 hours, I was told that my phone was complete and ready for pick-up. When I arrived, the technician asked if I had ever had my phone serviced before. I reluctantly told him that I had. At the winter springs store. He then informed me that my phone was missing ALL of the screws inside and they luckily had a kit to replace them for me (free of charge). So far my phone is in perfect working condition, good as new. Side note: while waiting I heard the story of a poor woman who has been waiting 3 weeks for them to fix a Nintendo Wii.
TLDR: This place sucks, took my phone in, came out worse than before. Go to the winter park store if you want results. This location seems to be overflowing with...
