Not a great experience. I took the computer in on either a Monday or a Tuesday and was told that it would be ready by that Friday or Monday. I didn’t hear anything on Friday, but I was not concerned because he did say that it could be Monday depending on the mail. I didn’t call on Monday because it was a holiday. I actually waited until Wednesday. The rep that I spoke to said that they were still “trying to source the part.” So the part had not been ordered. I couldn’t understand this since the computer is only 2 years old, and even in the tech world that isn’t ancient. And it was just a charging port. I expressed my concern because it was suppose to be fixed already. Also, I told him that I couldn’t do my invoicing (I’m a business owner) and that the delay was costing me money. He said something like, “Well, we have a lot of people’s computers here that are in that same situation. Your patience would be appreciated.” I said, “Your fixing my computer expediently would be appreciated.”
I decided to go pick up my computer right then and do something else. When I got there, another tech said that the part had been ordered and was out for delivery. I said, “I literally just talked to someone who said the part had not been ordered.” The rep that I talked to on the phone spoke up and said something like, “That was me. I didn’t look in the right place on your account.” I asked when it would be ready and he said he thought by Friday. I called on Friday and they said it didn’t work, even with the new part, and they were going to have to investigate further and call me. (No problem with that. Not their fault it didn’t work.)
The next morning shortly before 10am I got a text asking me to call them. I did, and the rep said that the computer techs were not there that day and he would try to track them down. He said, “Let me give you a call back.”
I never heard from him.
(So why text me and ask me to call if the people I need to speak to aren’t there?)
On Monday, around lunch time, I called and they said that the problem was going to be more expensive to fix and that they could fix it or I may just want to get a new one. I told him I would get a new one. They said they had a few computers to sell and that if I bought the computer from them it would be $50 to move over my data, and if I bought the computer elsewhere it would be $80 to move the data over.
A few hours later I went to pick up the computer and they only had two computers to sell and they were a little over my budget. So I said I wanted to shop around. That rep said that it was $85 to move the data over if I got the computer elsewhere and $65 if I bought the computer from them. I told him the price I was quoted on the phone and he said, “ No, it’s $85 and $65.”
I can’t testify to their ability to fix computers because they didn’t fix mine (at my request. Again, I have no issue with that). But their customer service is the pits, and they aren’t all on the same page. And when I am trusting someone with my business computer, that is not a good look. Computers and devices are often one of our highest expenses, and I have to know I can trust the people to whom I hand my devices. I just don’t have...
Read moreAvoid this place at all costs! They are borderline scammers, and their only intention is to manipulate and rob you. They will not listen, and they couldn’t care less about you or your well-being. We worked with Kyle, who was extremely rude and snakey the entire time. When I called them to explain our problem, he put me on hold and switched back instantly to interrupt my already very brief explanation because he did not want to listen. I just happened to have him on speaker phone at the time, and it was strongly suggested that I not use them. To my regret I decided to ignore this, and we dropped off a laptop for repair. We only needed a new screw in the hinge and the screen frame re-glued. I stressed that the screen was perfectly fine and that we needed the hinge fixed also. At that time they insisted the repair would be much less than $100.00 because this was a simple service, and that their policy was to call us before initiating any repairs that might be over $100.00. Only minutes after leaving, they called back trying to up-sell us into buying a new screen for $235.00+ even though we said beforehand that we did not want to do that. Kyle called us back two days later to let us know that it was ready, and that it would be $142.00 for the repair. We refused this, as they’d already told us they would not initiate any repairs over $100.00 without contacting us first. After making us wait another day, they finally called back allowing us to pick up the laptop for $107.00 after tax. The entire time Kyle kept complimenting himself on how great of a job he felt they did, and that they were doing us a favor by “charging us less per our request.” They were not doing us a favor. They effectively overcharged us as much as possible because they’d talked themselves into a corner already. Even worse, when we got the laptop back they still did not even fix the hinge. Their excuse for the cost was that this project was very labor intensive but ultimately they did not even do the correct repair. Overall they took four times longer to do half of what services they promised, made up a number to charge us whatever they could get away with, and lied through their teeth to us the whole time. They will sit around doing nothing with your device all day and call it labor. Go anywhere else. Watching a 10-minute YouTube video and doing it yourself would be better than...

Really wanted to like this place, Kyle seems professional but too professional to where he comes off as a used cars salesman.
Almost bought a macbook charger here last year, but once I got into the store I found it to be FAKE. Kyle's response "I never said it was a real Apple charger". FYI, I ended up buying a real charger from Apple that came on my doorstep the next morning for less than this place charges for it's FAKE chargers.
My iphone didn't power on last week, called Apple and tried to reset it but it didn't work and was told the battery needed to be replaced, so I called this place who convinced me to come in for a "free" diagnostics. There was no diagnostic, the guy didn't look at the phone or tell me what's wrong, simply told me "$60". Apple charges $29 for a battery replacement. I ended up buying a replacement battery with all the screw drivers for $4.54 off eBay and watched a 3 minute youtube video and replaced my battery myself.
Long story short, this place just seems to take advantage of Oxford community.
If you have a problem, contact Apple they still help even if it's out of warranty or there are forums you can ask for free and people will help out. If you need a charger or parts, borrow from a friend and buy online it's very cheap and there are tons of Youtube videos that any novice person can use.
If you need a major repair, wait till you go back home to do it. If it's urgent, go to Memphis or Tupelo, you can make a day trip out of it and still save more money then going...
