Our experience at the property was notably positive, with the attention to detail from the management and staff highlighting their commitment to guest satisfaction. The property itself greeted us with a scene of diligent maintenance and beauty, a testament to the owners' pride in their establishment. The staff's excellence and the cleanliness of our rooms added to the welcoming atmosphere, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. However, we encountered a few areas that could benefit from improvement.
While the overall cleanliness was commendable, we discovered thick dust behind the TV stand and some maintenance issues, such as a leaking faucet, the table in King suite was loose and a fire alarm hanging out of the wall. These minor concerns were slightly disappointing but did not significantly detract from our positive experience. A unique and delightful aspect of our stay was the breakfast, where the courteous staff served turkey, a novelty for hotel breakfasts in our experience. This thoughtful touch added to the enjoyment of our stay. There were a few bar sool in lobby loose, also. The pool area, an anticipated feature of our stay, presented a mix of feelings. The absence of the expected heated pool and the lack of specific pool towels were surprising.
Additionally, the indoor room lacked heating, which was a letdown, especially with the pool not being heated. The closure and filling in of the jacuzzi were disappointing. However, watching our children bravely enjoy the pool, seemingly unaffected by the cooler temperatures, alleviated some of our initial frustrations with the pool facilities.
In conclusion, our stay was largely enjoyable, underscored by the exceptional service and the beauty of the property.
As we anticipate many more visits in the future, especially with our daughters attending the University of Mississippi, we look forward to seeing continuous improvements. The property has all the makings of our family's go-to spot, with just a few areas for enhancement to make future stays perfect. We extend our congratulations to the staff and owners for their hard work and dedication to providing a wonderful...

I was staying at the hotel for the weekend for a funeral and even tho I didn't get to spend much time in the hotel..DEMETRI FLOWERS made me want to come back and stay here again anytime im visiting Oxford. She acknowledged me for being a DIAMOND Member which isn't always the case at every hotel..i was given my hilton honors snack bags on both nights and she even upgraded my rooms with NO HESITATION!! That always makes the experience so much better..and she even encouraged me to take advantage of my DIAMOND status seeing as I earned it!! I would recommend anyone I know to stay here..just off the experience from her alone!! My rooms were clean and of course spacious..due to the upgrade..I had a loud ac unit in my first room and AGAIN with no hesitation she put me in another room.and even gave me time to attend my funeral and come back to recheck me into the new room which I had no loud ac unit this time...there is nothing like getting A+ service because it will never be forgotten..and she definitely made my stay as comfortable as possible!!! Read moreThree stars are for the location, SUPER friendly staff, and and yummy cookies…BUT the place looks like a old one-star motel and smells like it from lobby and into rooms, and badly. Like as soon as you smell it, you think, “why did I just pay overpriced Oxford prices to stay here.”
With as much as this place charges for rooms on game days, graduation, move in/move-out, or just the inflated prices on normal days, they should update it…right now!!. The rooms are really outdated from top to bottom. Old carpet, furniture, paint, window dressings all from late 80s or early 90s. Really poor lighting. Bathrooms are the original of whenever this place was built, and it has 0 charm. Zero. Slightly depressing.
Noise: Lots of it! the walls are SO thin! So very very thin!!! The nice couples on either side were speaking all night in what I am sure was a normal tone and I could clearly hear every word, movement, flush, tv as if they were in my room. Finally, the AC - Wowzers, that thing was LOUD and CLUNKY!
At least I hope this place is paying their really friendly and helpful staff good wages with the money they charge for...
