Legendary Organics Oxnard Dispensary — Local services in Oxnard

As someone who suffers and is diagnosed with extreme anxiety, and I had an absolutely horrible experience with this company and I think everyone should be aware who you are supporting. I went in on Friday, 8/22/25 at around 2:30pm to pick up a pre-order at the Oxnard location. When I returned home I noticed that not only did I not receive everything that I had ordered, but I was also overcharged.

So the next day, Saturday, 8/23, I went in to notify them that i was missing part of my order and their immediate reaction, was to go back and review the video tapes. They simply told me that they saw the alleged missing item go into my bag wothout showing me proof. Essentially calling me a liar over a $12 item afyer I just spent $300. I then notified security to check the tapes where the employee who has a short man complex with his Harry Potter glasses and pony tail that expired in 1980, literally stole $8.50 right in front of my face and on camera. When I called him on it, he tried to gaslight me. So I made them review the tapes with 2 security officers, and sure enough, after I handed him the total amount, I watched him try and distract me and put $5 in the register and handed me my change. AFTER putting $5 in the register, he proceeds to count the stack of money and had the audacity to say that I was $5 short??? I gave him the additional $5 feeling like I had just been swindled, but was not 100% certain, so I left feeling cheated. When security discovered that I was right and he was caught sneeking a $5 in the register and telling me I was $5 short – he returned shortly from the back of the store after he said he had a conversation with the Genral Manager and he returned my $9 and then whispered to me “…..we (meaning the GM and him) decided that I will never be allowed to return.” Although, I had already decided, I would no longer be returning to this crooked establishment. The waiting room is a joke. Come on, give me a break? What a dumb idea. BTW, If I would have stole $12 worth of something and got caught I would have left in handcuffs; however, this employee (will call him Mario) who stated he was a manager blatantly stole from me on camera (a paying customer), tried to belittle me and treat ME like the criminal and he returned back to work. If I was his general manager I would review all of his cashier register footage, because even after he got visually caught stealing from me he told me the books were balanced that night, which tells me he’s been skimming off the extra profits on the books to ensure they were balanced for a while! Be very aware of these guys when paying and pay special attention to your receipt as someone else left a review that they short changed them as well. I also want to mention their products are way over priced and the staff are super rude, entitled and were not interested in making your experience peronalized. There are so many other options like Leaf and Stizzy I would highly recommend as an alternative to getting ripped off by these high school students or treated poorly by this-managed inexperienced crew.

PLEASE NOTE: If you feel that Legendary Organics (Oxnard or Thousand Oaks) has cheated you of a product or overcharged you, I would speak up as soon as possible.

P.S. Major props and shout out to the tall white security guard who had the common sense to say, “why don’t we just give him the $12 back?” He was cool and and I have mad respect for being reasonable and for recognizing how unprofessional and immature they were acting. They had me there for almost 1 hour for $9 and not only did they lose a loyal customer, but this review will be posted to Yelp, Google and all social media platforms to spread the word so others don’t have as horrible experience with this establishment as i did. I’m going to also tell my experience to other dispensaries in the area as well as friends and family to stay away from this place at all cost! Was it worth $12 for all...

This review is for Legendary Organics Oxnard, which I have had the pleasure of making my new weed connect since the hubby and I moved in February 2025.

First, I want to talk about their loyalty program, which offers 1 point for every $1 spent. If you are a smoker like me, these points can add up quickly! I just used some of my points to get $25 off my last purchase! That's $25 free money!

The other reason I think Legendary O in Oxnard is one of the best dispensaries around, is the people who work there. I've been greeted with a smile by the reception desk each time I've been to the dispensary. The reception area is clean, and with a security officer always on duty, it feels safe. I don't think I've ever waited longer than a few minutes till it's my turn to enter the main atrium, where I can check out the goods.

You'll notice the atrium is clean, well-lit, and organized, upon entering. The staff is very knowledgeable about the different products and strains that they offer, and will take the time to explain what the different products are, if you so wish. Usually, I'm asked how much I'm looking to spend, and then I'm shown what the best bang for my buck is, which I can't appreciate more.

Right up to the moment you check out, I've been reminded of any discounts I still have available to me, thus saving me money, and leaving me feeling like I got the best deal I can get.

The last point I want to make, and maybe the most important, is the incredible selection Legendary O has! With the most competitive prices I've seen yet, on some of the best products I've purchased. With 1g cartridges costing as little as $12. The ongoing daily specials on chosen products, can knock up to 50% off the price before you've even been rung up, and who doesn't like that?

I am located where I can choose between about 5-6 storefront dispensaries, all of them located about 20-25 miles from me. I'd say the choice is clear, for the best product and prices in Ventura County, I'll be shopping at Legendary...

This dispensary has the friendliest souls you will ever meet. Upon walking in, you are always greeted with a warm welcome.
