I was there last night. I arrived 20 mins before closing and a ,white guy with curly hair, standing by the door did not let me in. He said the lobby was closed and I should "try the drive-thru". Since I had never been to this Krispy Kreme and didn't know the lobby closed earlier than adverised. I didn't think it was a big deal and I just went through the drive thru. When we were waiting at the drive thru window to get our donuts. A white couple approached the lobby entrance and the same guy let them in and they were able to purchase donuts. I'm sure that white couple had a wonderful experience. As a person of color felt discriminated. I though about letting it go since at the end of the day I still got some donuts but here I am writing about this since I been constantly thinking about this since last night. The donuts were not worth the trouble by the way. We were given really cold, hardened donuts. They felt like I was bitting in a stick of butter. We only had the first bite of 2 donuts and tossed the whole box away. I had way better experiences at other locations, Burbank...
Read moreI generally like Krispy Kreme. It is by far my favorite doughnuts shops. I have even traveled great lengths as 30 miles and even 50 miles for it. But I was very happy when I heard the one in Oxnard was opening up, because it’s only about 15 or so miles from where I am. But when I went I was disappointed; I’ve gone around 4 times and every time I go the doughnuts we are given are never fresh, and are rediculously greasy which we haven’t had a problem with at any other Krispy Kneme locations. My favorite locations go to the location in Burbank; Which also has mini versions of their glazed doughnuts. And my favorite, which is somewhere that you will always be guaranteed fresh doughnuts no matter what, and has friendly service and that I think does the doughnuts the best is the one on 1331 W Craig Rd North Las Vegas, NV. I give those two locations 5 stars. So if you have problems with Krispy Kreme and your ever in Vegas I encourage you to try it out. And define go To the one in burbank because not only are there mini glazed but they have mini versions of many of their...
Read moreI went to this location twice and both times I was there the Hot Light was on for fresh doughnuts and it was durring the Hot Light hours. We waited 30 minutes in line when there were maybe 4 cars ahead of us. We finally ordered and asked for half a dozen hot glazed. Got the box after waiting at the window for another 5 minutes and we asked if ours were hot. We see her open our box and TOUCH THEM with a sanitary glove. She assures us they are hot and hands them to us....They were dead cold. Not room temperature. COLD. I finally found the person Coors Light had been advertising to. We told her they were cold and asked for hot ones. We see her go to the back and stick our box in a microwave. As we drive around the front, we see the hot light is still on and no doughnuts were being made. We proceeded to throw away our half dozen and go to Burbank for the proper KK experience. The Oxnard location appears to have all of their employees on drugs of some kind. Worst customer experience ever. You will get a better experience and possibly even better...
