Purchased $2,000 mattress (Nectar Premier Copper) from the Oxnard location. Initial experience was great and sales associate Sandra was very helpful selecting mattress. Delivery was on time and things seemed to be great. First night sleeping on mattress my partner and I both agreed that the mattress received was not what we experienced in the store. We called and directly spoke with Sandra and we got the story line of waiting 30 days for the mattress to break in. Week later with little sleep we called back due to the mattress being so uncomfortable. Another associate helped us out by the name of Marty and we came to conclusion that the outer covering of the mattress was set upside down. This had been noted issue so Marty was prompt on getting us new mattress as exchange due to manufacturing defect. Second mattress was received and initially the comfort was night and day difference. After 30 days I would NOT RECOMMEND the Nectar Premier Copper mattress. One side is extremely soft while the other side is extremely firm. Mattress seemed to have been used prior and they are possibly recycling the mattress returns. After the 30 days my partner and I stopped by in person after being directed by customer service that we were eligible for return. Upon entry of store we were greeted by a blonde lady and she asked if she could help (Not very friendly). I mentioned that we were here due to the current mattress we purchased from there we were not happy with it. Her response to me was that āare you sure you got the mattress from this store.ā Quickly I replied that Iām here to talk to Marty or Sandra. Thinking back, I wish I would have got her name and reported it to the corporate office. After learning that you can not return mattress and get your money back we were locked in to looking for another mattress. Long story short received the 3rd mattress which has rip and again looked used. What made the experience worse the guys delivering mattress that time were very rude and the one guy refused to move mattress if child gates were up. Previously both mattress before were moved and the team before had no issues. I requested a firm mattress. Kat said if I am not happy with the mattress I can return it, restock fee is $250. The mattress is soft and I sink. It increases back pain. Long story short, Kat never told me, gave me, or emailed terms and conditions. She gave me my financing docs and invoice. Itās been a nightmare trying to get through customer service and speak to manager. I have gone to the store, emailed, faxed, texted, and left messages. I spoke to a customer service rep Nakeshia and Rocio. Long story short all sales are final/no refunds. I repeatedly asked for terms and conditions. Nakeshia screen shot it and texted it. I contacted her again and requested the actual agreement in pdf form. Basically, after mattresses are delivered all sales are final. Then a spoke to Rocio who basically said the same. I asked to speak to a manager. I was placed on hold then sent to voicemail. So KAT intentionally failed to email me, hand me, or tell me about the final sale policy in order to get her commission. I learned about the policy AFTER the mattress was delivered. I had to insist Sit āN Sleep to email it to me. KAT knew darn well that omitting the policy information to me would increase her commission, mask my knowledge in order for the mattress to get delivered so that it becomes a final sale. I waiting for management to call me back. The issue is KAT NEVER FULLY DISCLOSED THE TERMS, hand over, or email them to me. Furthermore, KAT only showed me 4 mattress on date of purchase 5-22-22. On 5-30-22 I called and left a message for Kat: I didnāt get a call back so I went to the store. While Kat was with a customer I explored and texted mattresses. I discovered and learned their tag system RED IS FIRM, BLUE MEDIUM FIRM, and GREEN SOFT. KAY SOLD ME A BLUE TAG KNOWING I NEEDED RED. Even their testing machine confirmed I need a firm mattress. KAT is unethical and with her shady salesmanship is going to ruin Sit āN Sleepās brand and reputation. Kat is very unprofessional and a liar. If this doesnāt get resolved quickly and ethically I am going to have to take legal representation and file a complaint with the Better Business Bearu. I purchased my mattress on 11/22 for delivery 11/23. I was assured that I made the delivery cut off period for next day delivery. The next day I never received a text message with my delivery window so I contacted the store. I was told that my mattress delivery was scheduled for 11/29. This was not the date that I agreed to so I contacted customer service. The customer service representative informed me that deliveries only occur to my area 2 times a week. I was never told this when I purchased my mattress. This was very disappointing news because I really needed that mattress by the weekend. Had I known it wasn't possible to deliver in that time, I would have made preparations to pick up from store in person. After talking with the customer service representative, I was told I would recieve 2 pillows (valued at $40 each) for compensation for my troubles. I agreed to this solution. Yesterday I recieved my mattress with only one pillow. This pillow was very low quality. It felt like the pillows you can find at a Target for less than $5. I guarantee Sit n Sleep does not sale a pillow of this low quality and if they did , it would not be priced at $40. Overall I'm disappointed in my experience. Everyone I spoke with in the store and the over the phone were very friendly but at the end of the day, I didnt get my mattress by the time I needed it and the free gift for my troubles was not...
