Not impressed with Lake Health. I’ve encountered difficulties with every aspect of receiving care from all Lake Health facilities. There seems to be a complete system-wide lack of coordination that makes for problems from scheduling appointments or radiology procedures to communicating with staff in physician offices & receiving return telephone calls to doctor office visits or procedures being respectful of a patient’s time and running close to the scheduled time. Scheduling radiology procedures & providing registration and insurance information only to go through the same process again upon check-in and discover that the information was not updated when it was provided over the telephone. Two times they were supposed to mail me information regarding my procedure, and two times now I've had to cancel appointments that leave me with a large fee, they've failed to file FMLA paperwork which led to termination from my job. They absolutely do not care if you're feeling better, they just want money. Terrible doctors that would rather put you on a pill than listen to your symptoms. They do not explain side effects, and if you're not okay with the side effects listed, Dr. Heng will get angry, and storm out. Read moreI had to have an MRI with contrast of both breasts because my score for developing breast cancer is higher than normal. Everyone, from scheduling to each of the staff members I interacted with at Tripoint, were friendly, efficient, and caring. My technician Jeff, was really great though. I am claustrophobic, so I was already scared plus worried about the results and he did everything possible to calm my mind and help me to relax. He was also great at getting an IV started (a big plus!!). An MRI is not something enjoyable but the staff at Tripoint and my technician Jeff really helped to make the whole process go smoothly.
