Pub Freto is the kind of spot you find once and never stop coming back. The bartenders are absolute pros—sharp, friendly, and they remember your drink like you're family. Whether you’re winding down after work or meeting up with clients, they keep the vibe elevated without losing that warm, welcoming energy. You’ll never catch any riff-raff here—just high-quality, successful folks who know how to enjoy a good cocktail and a great conversation.
The mixology program is top-tier. Whether you're sipping an old fashioned or something seasonal and creative, every drink is crafted with precision and care. But don’t sleep on the food. From the perfectly seared scallops to the decadent short rib sliders, the dishes go toe-to-toe with any fine dining kitchen in the city. Even the appetizers, like the truffle fries or tuna tartare, are executed with finesse and flavor.
It’s that rare combo of upscale without being pretentious—where the staff make you feel like a regular on your first visit and the drinks hit just right every time. Pub Freto isn't just a bar. It’s a...
Read moreKind of mediocre. We went there for the first time excited about the menu. Our group got 3 apps. The pretzel is awesome. However the crab cakes were underwhelming....Lacked flavor even with the sauce. I was excited to get the short rib perogies...but disappointed to find they are just regular perogies with toppings... perogies we're ok and their short ribs have great flavor...just a little dry. Loved the pickled onions though. Apps over all were not very warm. My husband had a good burger but dry. My friend ordered Mac n cheese...here was the disappointment...it tasted like stophers... I'm sure they probably make it in house but it's was not good especially for the price. I would suggest changing up the cheese maybe....adding a crust....something
Pub Frato' s menu descriptions don't live up to their descriptions in flavor. I guess I just expected more from a place that promotes its self as a gastropub... Great service though.we will give it another try though...maybe kitchen was having an...

The menu has grown to offer a much more upscale variety still at reasonable prices another plus - Unfortunately, the service they provide to their customers is on a fast downward spiral and may be their demise. I could go in to a long story on why, but suffice to say the wait staff has a pretty "we don't care" attitude about their customers. I could be wrong, but when you take a customers order and you bring it to the table and it is not correct you shouldn't give the customer attitude about what you didn't do right in the first place. Second time this has happened in that last month and have heard others complain as well of the same...
